Services
Many reconstructive procedures are covered by insurance plans, and which procedures are covered varies among different insurance companies. For non-emergent (elective) surgeries, a letter and photographs may need to be submitted to your insurance company for prior authorization. Our office will help with the necessary paperwork through the pre-authorization process.

I came here for something simple (removal of a growth). This is a two woman office. There's just the doctor and the receptionist. If you leave a message you will get a callback. You'll be treated like a human being with kindness and respect. You won't feel like a cog in a factory. and get this - they will actually tell you what things cost before the procedure! Dr. Shore is simply the BEST. Today is 3 months post breast reduction surgery and I couldn't be happier. I experienced no insurance headaches, she took care of everything. Absolutely fabulous! This is a super small practice inside the hospital. Just a receptionist and surgeon. And the surgeon does everything - including botox and fillers. She is very friendly and gentle. And I truly appreciate her understated approach. She didn't recommend a bunch of thing to me. And she has a less now, you can always add more, but you can't take away approach. After just one visit, I'm pretty sure I'd trust her to do almost anything to me. And that says a lot. Natural overlined lips and pouting on the left vs 1cc of Juvederm on the right.
Dr. Shore did an amazing job on my lips. I didn't have any pain but I did have a tiny bruising but it's barely noticeable and that's normal, some even had worse.
My lips are very even and they're exactly how I want them to be. I will definitely come back.

I recently had gender affirming top surgery with Dr. Shore, and I'm also a surgical technologist that works with some of the best surgeons in Chicago. From the perspective of both a patient and someone who operates with surgeons everyday I am impressed and pleased with Dr. Shores surgical skills and bedside manner. Dr. Shore is phenomenal. She is professional and caring. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction to get rid of my 17 year old baby belly. I had unsightly strech marks and surgery scars all over my belly. After the surgery, my tummy is flat w no fat. My husband says my stomach looks better now than when I was 18 yrs old. My clothes fit like a glove instead of a sack. Dr shore and her staff are by far the best health care providers I have ever met. Not only are they caring, lovely, understanding, and knowledgeable but the results I have had by the hands of Dr. Shore have been life changing. I unfortunately did not have the same 5 Star experiences as everyone else. I reached out a couple times through the website and did not receive any sort of response or call back. Was it something I said or did I not fit in their criteria??

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Alison Shore at Lakeview Plastic Surgery. To say the least, I was extremely nervous about going to see her for a mole removal on my face. She was so patient, kind, and knowledgable. She has great bed side manner, answers all of your questions, and makes sure you are comfortable moving forward. I had my procedure just about 2 months before a really big event, so I was freaking out. She was wonderful and so were the results! I could not be happier. I would recommend Dr. shore any day!
