Our activity program is the first step in helping residents feel comfortable in their new community. Many residents feel that they have not only gained a beautiful new home but also an extended family. We encourage our Assisted Living residents to live their lives the way they want - with all the freedom, activities and privacy they can manage and desire.
Blue Lakes Assisted Living provides all levels of care including supervisory, personal and directed. This ensures that our residents can remain in their familiar & comfortable home among friends, even if their level of care increases. An arrangement of a wide variety of in-house physician services, therapy, and nursing services, so families can relax and not worry about transporting loved ones.
Assisted living is not a nursing home. The typical Blue Lakes Assisted Living resident may need assistance with medications, meals, housekeeping, and other activities, but is not chronically ill. This is your home and you should have all the comforts and furnishings to which you are accustomed. Our home was specially remodeled with wide hallways, and wide doors.

In todays day and age it is rare to see the care, compassion and dignity shown to anyone especially those most vulnerable the elderly that need specialized care. One of our friends has been in this assisted care for some time now. Ben and the staff give such amazing care to the residents. More than just giving great care, Ben is also an amazing person. He and the staff go above and beyond in all they do. Your loved ones will be in great hands if the need arises to have your family receive specialized care.

Ben is the owner of Blue Lakes. He is very easy going and great to communicate with. My mom transferred from another long term care facility and Ben was very helpful all the way. Once Covid-19 was in the US. Ben followed all precautions and closed his home to protect the residents. I’d say he closed so soon and was so very clean that everyone was very sheltered from the disease. My mother and father had been married for 56 years and my dad was walking from his home to visit my mom everyday. When Ben closed up the home from visitation we knew this would be a huge sadness if my mom and dad couldn’t

My grandmother is currently a resident at Blue Lakes Assisted Living and I could not ask for better care, staff, or a location for her. She tends to be on the moody side (just like me), and the staff are able to make her laugh and smile in ways I never thought. If you are like my family was - very hesitant to move your loved one out of their independent homes - Ben and the staff at Blue Lakes will put your mind at ease, knowing that your family member is in great hands.

I came to Blue Lakes after a prolonged hospital stay about two years ago. Left once for about three weeks and came back.
The facility is maintained immaculately at all times.
All of the Caretakers are extremely attentive to my needs and address them immediately.
All the Food you can eat and Snacks available on request.
Anyone can be happy here including veterans.

We feel so lucky to have found Blue Lakes Assisted LIving for Mom. The personalized care they give her is amazing.
