Services
We have had a LOT of dogs in our pack. We've dealt with a LOT of Vets in the process. Post Road Vet Team are the most kind, compassionate, caring, innovative and empathetic with both humans and our furry family. Thank you to the entire team. You are the BEST! When I took my dog, I was very impressed with the service I received.
We are dedicated to helping your pet achieve the highest quality of life. Our team provides exceptional care while showing respect for you and your beloved companion. Becoming a client is easy. When we receive your information, a member of our team will be in touch to help you schedule your first appointment.
We want your visit to Post Road Vet to be the best veterinary experience you ever had! We're all animal lovers here and we work hard to create a warm, inviting and comfortable environment for you and your pet. We will do our best to make sure you are seen by a technician as soon as we have one available.
We monitor our patients closely to keep them as safe as possible during procedures that require general anesthesia. A veterinary technician will continually assess your pet's heart and respiratory rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs to help prevent any anesthetic risk. Please feel free to ask us about our patient monitoring protocol or any concerns you might have about your pet's procedure.
Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have dental disease by the age of 3. Dental (or periodontal) disease is the most frequently diagnosed health problem in pets.

We were vacationing in the area when we had a need for our Labrador to see a vet. We called Post Road Vet Clinic where they listened to our need and gave us an appointment for the next morning. (It was not an emergency). We arrived and called letting them know we were there and we were in the building within 10 minutes.
The tech and Dr Nolan were awesome with our boy. He had started limping and we discovered he had a laceration on his paw. Dr Nolan checked him over and even checked a couple of things I asked about. No rush… all was good and I felt very comfortable with everything he did. I can

I wish there was an option for zero stars!! I brought my bulldog in because he was bleeding profusely from his rectum. They charged me over 700 dollars and didn't even do an x ray. Could not even give me a diagnosis. All they did was give him fluids. After charging me 700 dollars they told me to take him to the MVC. For an overnight stay and X-ray. Avoid this place at all costs. My friend is a supervisor vet tech at another veterinarian and couldn't believe the lack of care I received. I'm devastated because I still don't know what is wrong with him!!

We have used Post Road Veterinary Clinic since we moved to the area and have always found them to be first class. The staff are outstanding, great at finding workable solutions to any challenges, and genuinely caring about both their pet and human clients. They provided "above and beyond" service to our cat Vinnie, who was a kidney kitty for the last two years of his life, and have been excellent with Omar and Tiana, our newest additions to the family.

I took my dog in for ear hematoma surgery 5 weeks ago. When we returned home from our trip to ME, we noticed our dog still had a hole in her ear, so we followed up with our normal vet. Our vet says she has never seen anything like this in 26 years and the previous surgery was botched. I reached out to Post Rd Vet and they are saying that the dog probably shook her head and messed up the surgery. They didn't even bother reaching out to our current vet just to verify. This place charged me double the second surgery at her normal vet, botched the surgery, blamed the dog, and lacked empathy. I recommed

LOVE THIS PLACE. My cat is literally the light of my life and after a terrible experience with a different vet that almost cost me his life, I was feeling wary of all vets, but I truly could not have been happier with our experience. Hailey was so kind and compassionate and knowledgeable. She clearly cares about animals and is amazing at what she does. They were thorough but quick, which I appreciate because it doesn’t stress my boy out any more than necessary. I feel so relieved to have found a place I trust to take care of my cat and I will definitely be recommending Post Road to everyone I

Every time I interact with Post Rd Vet I am impressed. The staff are wonderful from the front desk to exam rooms. I've been to many other vet clinics over the years but this place is just different in all the really great ways that count. The staff and doctors are beyond knowledgeable as well as wonderful with my dog have been right on top of illnesses or injuries that have come up with my dog including the latest technology like laser therapy for hip dysplasia pain for my German Shepherd. I highly recommend this practice for the care of your pet.
