We are dentists specializing in proactively preventing disease and restoring function and esthetics. We have been providing dental care to Nashville and Middle Tennessee communities since 1979. We strive to deliver excellence in dentistry and to exceed expectations in every aspect of your care.
Originally from West Memphis Arkansas, Dr. Poff graduated high school at the Arkansas School for Math and Sciences in 2003 and earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2007.He graduated with a D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, TN, in 2011.

Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, or crooked teeth. Dental bonding is a white filling bonded to your tooth to improve its appearance. Because it comes in a variety of tooth-colored shades, it closely matches the appearance of your natural teeth. The bonding material is about 50% the strength of enamel.
A bridge may be used to replace missing teeth, helping maintain the shape of your face and alleviating stress on your bite. Ideally, all missing teeth are replaced with dental implants. If there is not sufficient bone or financial means to restore a smile with dental implants, a bridge may be the next best option.
Crowns are a restorative procedure used to improve your tooth's shape or strengthen it. Crowns are most often used for teeth that are broken, worn, or have weakened portions due to tooth decay. Depending on the amount of restoration needed, a dental crown or "cap" may be required to reduce the risk of fracturing the tooth.

I switched to see Dr Poff because my previous dentist retired. My first appointment was for a cleaning. Hygienist Aubrey did a great job to go through all the new patient’s procedures followed by Dr Poff’s check up. He gave me a lot of information about my teeth and my oral structure with good advice. I really enjoy my visit. I’ll stay with this clinic.

Dr Poff and his staff are truly a friendly and professional group. Dr Dunn who I also respect, had this practice when I 1st moved down here in 1990. I stayed with his practice, because of they're friendly, caring, and truly have your best interest at heart. Dr. Poff took over the practice when Dr Dunn retired, and his knowledge, experience, and soft hands have kept my mind at ease. I'm not the easiest person to deal with pain. He's awesome, and makes sure whatever procedure you're having, its virtually painless! Not to mention how he follows up with house calls if you've had a major procedure done

Everyone from the check-in to check out are friendly and helpful. Who knew it didn’t have to be a painful experience to have your teeth cleaned. I was very happy with that service as well. Dr Poff was very professional and helpful with explaining all that needs to be done. I didn’t feel any pressure in which direction I choose to go with what needs to done. I will definitely recommend his practice to any who are in need of a good dental practice.

I have seen several dentists and never left the appointments feeling the Dentist and staff cared the way I have after each appointment with

I was recommended by a friend and this was an absolutely amazing experience. The staff here are the best, Tammy is so sweet, friendly, and helpful. Michelle and Aubrey are our favorite hygienists and they are gentle and take great care of you. Dr. Poff was fantastic, very thorough and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend this place!

First time I went to Dr. Dunn’s dental office.
Dental hygienist Aubrey did an excellent job and knew how to correctly floss my teeth by moving the floss backwards and forwards until it went pass the two teeth and then flossing.
The hygienist at the prior office simply push it down between the two teeth and was constantly bruising my gums.
In addition, Dr. Dunn performed an oral cancer screening which was hit or miss at the prior office.
These are two things I always look for and the more experienced hygienist and dentist will always do these two things.

Dr. Justin Poff came in as Dr. Dale Dunn neared retirement (Dr. Dunn is still kicking and sometimes still practicing, I note) and has made the practice even better if that can be imagined. Gentle, mindful, aesthetically superior, calm-inducing and technically top grade. An extraordinary dental experience -- if there is any such thing. (Says this soul who has spent far too much time in a dental chair during life...bad tooth genes.) His staff is also a clear cut above. If you can get in, go!
