I was seeking acupuncture for fertility and chose the Dova center due to the great reviews and proximity to my home. I was not disappointed! Gina is very professional, kind, and warm and always made me feel much more relaxed when I left a session. She was always running on time, her desk staff is lovely, the facility is inviting and clean, and she was very generous with scheduling times. She has done a great job adhering to COVID-related guidelines and I always feel safe there. Having frequent sessions with her helped a lot during what would otherwise be a very stressful time. I highly recommend the Dova Center. Practitioners are skilled, knowledgeable, and curious. They listen to understand. Treatments have been effective and recommendations have been spot on. Both Gina and Sarah have provided excellent care every time I've come in. The front desk staff provide excellent customer service and are friendly and knowledgeable. Hours are supportive of people who work full time. I can almost always get an appointment within a couple of days and have even been able to get in same day when I've had an urgent issue. I've rarely had to wait more than a few minutes

I have been going to Dova for several years. When I walk In, I am always greeted with a smile. Today was especially nice because I used the sauna for the first time. The 30 minutes I spent in there were calm, quiet, and cleansing. My massage therapist was waiting for me as soon as I was done showering. I already look forward to going back!

I have chronic back and shoulder pain, it's been something I've had to live with for a long time. The first time I went to Dova for a massage and acupuncture session, I walked out with my back feeling like I was a kid again! The relief I felt was real and not just be super relaxed, which of course is always a plus. I was truly shocked with how long I felt relief after my first visit! If you are wanting to bill insurance, or wanting an office that will be upfront with you and look out for your best interests find somewhere else. The staff is nice enough and I think the acupuncturists are pretty good, but after about 6 visits they finally told me that they had gotten out of network with my insurance because they weren't getting paid enough, but they didn't tell me this until after I had been there multiple times. I've been getting acupuncture from Gigi for a few years. I'm quite picky as I have been to some amazing acupuncturists over the years.
When my previous acupuncturist moved to Montana, I was referred to see Gigi by a friend. I'm beyond thrilled with the care I've received. This winter I was going monthly and didn't get sick once! Gigi gave me some stellar immunity herbs and my whole family stayed healthy with those! Beyond that, my sleep is better, hormones balanced out, digestion is better (I can eat more pizza and not feel terrible- whoohoo). I literally can't imagine

I literally don’t know where to start with this place.... the front office staff is wonderful and Sarah is an amazing acupuncturist. I was on the fence about acupuncture in the beginning and I really turned to it as a last resort for my health issues. If you’re unsure about acupuncture I highly recommend Dova. I always feel so comfortable and welcome. I wish I could give them ten stars!

Whether I have a muscle-ache from too much exercise, a mood-ache from too much stress, or a sense that I am coming down with a cold or illness, the dova center acupunture with Gigi has been my go to place for the last couple years. I love getting a warm cup of tea before my appts. and hanging out in their comfortable lounge. I highly recommend the dova center!

I took my 11 year old daughter to the Dova Center for pediatric accupuncture. I was very optimistic and excited about taking her to the Dova Center (even though it was a 30 minute drive from my house) because they claimed to specialize in pediatric acupuncture.

I went there for acupuncture due to nerve pain. Really liked Christa, the acupuncturist. Unfortunately the acupuncture seemed to make it worse, but I had planned to come back for further treatment for my back and neck. I was sold some herbs for $35 a bottle, and they really bothered my stomach so the next week asked for a refund. After several requests I was told no. It seems like the owner would refund me $35 to keep a paying customer.

Update: I loved Dova for a while, as I was seeing an incredible acupuncturist regularly. One day I got a call that she was no longer there, and they automatically scheduled me with a different person without consulting me first OR telling me what was going on! I loved my acupuncturist and knew she wouldn't suddenly up and leave her clients. Dova, you can't just switch your staff out and think it'll be okay. There's something weird about that place and I sadly haven't been back.

Victory! I finally found a health center! For me, Dova balances eastern practices with the (IMHO) trustworthiness of western medicine. I often find eastern healing centers to be a bit too...OM-y (sp? is that a word? now it is) for my liking. Accupuncture here is the name of the game, though they do seem to have a burgeoning yoga practice. I've also been meaning to try a massage. The accessibility off of 36 is also a big pro for me - far enough from Boulder that you avoid the inflated prices, but close enough that's it's one exit off the highway.
