We work closely with the US-EPA as well as environmental regulators from other countries to assure our customer's material is handled in a compliant and responsible manner.

Michael Friedman, President of Sustainable Management Corp began in the scrap metal business in 1976 when he was hired by Colonial Metals Company (Columbia, PA) as a metals buyer. He studied under master sorter, John Smith learning how to sort copper, brass, bronze, and copper-nickel alloys in preparation to buy scrap from dealers, processors, steel mills, and military bases throughout North America.
Sustainable Management Corp provides management and marketing services to industrial and commercial business with the focus on waste and recycling "BACKDOOR PRODUCTS" such as metals, oxides, catalysts, filtercakes, plastics, and paper scrap as well as industrial and commercial waste, special waste, and hazardous waste.
Drew Friedman supervised loading of 16 containers of nickel and zinc catalyst from an oil refinery in the Caribbean. Michael Friedman will be the moderator of the Tin, Lead, and Zinc session during the ISRI Conference. St. Louis, MO Drew and Michael Friedman attended the Mid America ISRI's Chapter Consumer's Night Banquet.
