Our mission, through martial arts training, is to develop students with strong character, confidence, and leadership skills. Our certified instructors have gone through hundreds of hours of training in both Songahm taekwondo curriculum and in teaching methods. Instructors are CPR certified, have passed periodic background checks, and have attended regional or national instructor certification clinics.

All of our instructors are actively training in martial arts, and continue to advance their knowledge and skills. We understand that families have busy schedules, so we've made our class schedule as flexible as possible. Classes are offered Monday through Saturday at a variety of times, and there is no need to stick to the same class each week!

We love ATA (Oakmont Martial Arts). It has done wonders for my son's coordination and confidence. The staff is professional and does an amazing job with the children! Not only do they teach TKD, but they instill life skills like respect, leadership, and discipline.

We are very pleased with the expertise, flexibility, and kindness of the staff! Each child gets ample attention during class times. We’ve only been going for a month, and they have already learned so much! We look forward to continuing our journey with this wonderful group of instructors!

We have recently signed up with ATA for our 6 and 3 year olds and could not be more enthusiastic about the program, despite the fact that our three-year-old is flexing his stubbornness and refusing to go into most classes. It is clear that every member on the teaching staff at ATA is wonderful with children and has either taken training or been skillfully guided in how to work with them. Each class, without fail, almost every instructor in the building makes an attempt to help him come into class and feel comfortable. Some times are more successful than others, but they try every single time, and

My family and I love this establishment, the instructors are knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of children while teaching discipline. I have seen a great change in my son and couldn’t be happier. Thank you to the instructors for being as awesome as you all are, keep it up!!

Love this place! My daughter started when she was 3.5 because I wanted her to have fun and learn about respect. She has learned so much and is so much more coordinated even in just one year. The teachers are great - this is not an easy age to teach but they are patient and fun and engaging. They really make an effort to bring shy and timid kids out of their shells (not that it was a problem with mine, ha!). Highly recommend.

Our son joined the Oakmont Martial Arts family 5 years ago as a tiny tiger. Watching the instructors keep the attention and control of a room full of 4 years olds with kindness and respect was inspiring.
Now that our son is a youth student, he is learning to be a leader with the same patience and respect that was extended to him. We are so glad that we chose Oakmont Martial Arts. Highly Recommend!!

Truly one of the best decisions we have ever made for our kids. The staff and owners of Oakmont Martial Arts are genuinely kind and caring. They excel at meeting each child where he or she is, while still encouraging high standards. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

My both sons started taking classes about 2.5 years ago. My older son who has ASD, ADHD, Anxiety and other conditions run away as soon as he entered the building for his trial. The instructors are skillful, patient and always welcoming, so he could start a few weeks later when he was really ready. Through the classes, they both have been learning not only Taekwondo techniques, but also learning social skills, emotional management, organizing skills, building confidence, patience, caring selves and others, having fun and more. I can see how much they have been developed in many areas of their daily

Both of my children go here. My older child has been going for 2 years, and my 3 year old just started. The program for Tigers is amazing for kids! It builds confidence, and self defense. It also teaches kids how to work together, and look each other in the eye when speaking to each other. They teach about being respectful to parents too. It’s an amazing program with amazing people who genuinely care about each child reaching there individual success. If I could give them 100 stars I would!

Oakmont ATA has just been so amazing for my son. All the instructors truly care about these kids and it shows. I’ve seen Seth grow over the past five years here not only in knowledge of martial arts but in confidence, self-control and perseverance. I’m so grateful for a place that enforces character alongside true ATA professionalism.
