The Polacheck family first laid down its roots nine decades ago and has been passed on through many generations. Their story begins in 1921 when Ben Tipp opened a small diamond store in Seattle. Ben and his wife, Lillian, had three daughters, Mitzi, Pearl, and Helen. Pearl Tipp married Arthur Polacheck and together they relocated to Los Angeles with their two boys, Arthur Jr. and Stephen.
In 1949, Arthur Polacheck opened the first Polacheck's Jewelers location in Glendale. In 1963, Stephen took over the day to day operations, and together, they eventually expanded to 5 locations throughout Southern California. After more than 40 years dedicated to the jewelry business, Arthur decided it was time to spend more time with his family and sold all 5 locations to a public company.

I have been to a variety of authorized luxury watch dealers over the years, but when I say that Polacheck's takes the cake, it's because they have outdone themselves in an unimaginable way!

I strongly recommend this fine jewelry store where the employees that work here pride themselves in offering not only excellent items but most importantly, wonderful customer service.
Case in point is their service manager, Mr. Aldo Castro. He is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Aldo is the nicest person ever. He helped me with a big friendly smile and for that I thank him.

Nicely decorated store and product presentation that brings about an upscale shopping experience. My sales associate was helpful, patient, and attentive. Sadly we were not able to make a deal that day; but I would definitely come back to him for my next watch purchase, for him to get first shot at my business. Overall I am very happy with the experience; I did not feel pushed or rushed. Research your pieces before you go to the store, so you have knowledge as leverage for negotiation.

I came in today to get help cleaning some jewelry my mom had and two other pieces that broke. I was reluctant to come in because last time I came in, I was dealt with by a man and it felt like I was unimportant because I wasn't going to drop a large amount of money on something there. However, today, I was greeted by Lisa Lang who was so kind, caring and helpful. She made me feel welcome and was happy to assist me. She just had a way about her that was so pleasant and genuine. What a pleasant experience. I came in to change the watch band on my watch. I even brought the special part I needed for it. I was greated professionally at the door and immediately was taken to the expert in the back of the store who knew exactly what need to be done. 10 min later I was already leaving the store with a job precisely done.

I walked into Polacheck's for the very first time about a month ago. I was welcomed kindly by one of their salesman immediately. We struck up a conversation and we talked about what I was in the market for. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was shopping for at the time but I was told that the piece I was looking eventually comes in. The salesman was really informed and answered all my questions. Even though I didn't find what I was looking for, I walked out of there looking forward to giving them my business. I recommend stopping by and asking for Mark.
