Paul is very professional. I used his watch appraisal and authentication services. He very quickly responded to my call for an appointment and gave me a quick and affordable service, while I called couple other watch appraisers most of whom didn’t even answer my calls.

We have looked around West Los Angeles for a business that would buy estate jewelry we inherited. My wife found on Google Pacific Jewelry Appraisers & Buyers. We met with Paul Shikhvarger who runs the business. He appraised the jewelry and offered the amount we felt comfortable with. We both would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a fair, honest and helpful jewelry appraiser/buyer.

I had tried a known-brand jeweler at a mall to appraise my watch and ring. I found that they don't do that. So I decided to do a search for a real Appraiser. Pacific Jewelry & Watch - Appraisers & Buyers stuck me as the place to go. And I was right. I called and made an appointment. Paul greeted me and went to the job of actually appraising my watch and ring, taking pictures, noting specifics; and the next day I received the email with the appraisal document attached. Quick and easy and thorough. I will definitely return the next time that I need appraising or selling.

Paul was fantastic! I found him on the internet - not a referral, so went in a little on guard. However, he was personable and professional and took great care while handling my two items. He spent about 1/2 hour or 45 minutes and gave me a bit of a diamond history lesson which was welcomed and interesting. Never treated me like I wasn't important because I had almost zero knowledge. The items never left my sight and he said he needed a couple of days to do research. He returned an extensive appraisal report which was fun to read and perfect for insurance. I'm going to bring another piece to him

Paul was careful, reliable and honest. One thing really stood out. I had a chain that looked like it was gold and silver. He tested it in 4 different ways because he thought it was gold, but some of the tests he used didn't identify the gold. He could have simply told me it wasn't gold and pocketed the money. He didn't. He kept testing until he was satisfied with the result. I highly recommend Paul.
