Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home offers three kinds of funeral service: Traditional, Memorial and Cremation. The expressed wishes of the deceased as well as their kin determine what the best way to proceed with the funeral. Most often the body is the focal point of the funeral service, sometimes with an open casket, sometimes with a closed casket.
Much attention has been drawn to the "Green Movement" lately. People are concerned about the long term effects of the products they purchase, the vehicles they drive, and the amount of resources they are consuming. Although the "Green" initiative is a recent trend, both Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home since 1900, and Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home since 1865, have offered nature-friendly alternatives to the traditional funeral.
An important part of the funeral is to determine what vessel will contain the remains of the body. At Iliff-Ruggiero, we help with that process. We have a wide selection of caskets, vaults and urns. Our display room is laid out to give families the opportunity to see and touch our high quality merchandise.

Our gravestones, headstones and markers vaults have been carefully selected for their craftsmanship and for the variety of materials and choices they offer. Answering questions and making decisions in an At-Need Funeral Arrangement may very well be one of the most difficult tasks you will ever face. To help relieve the stress of these situations, we are pleased to offer Pre-need Funeral Arrangements. Essentially, Pre-need funeral arrangements, or "Pre-Arrangements, " are a way to plan ahead for yourself, or a loved one, before you are overwhelmed with the stress and grief of a passing.

Fortunately I have not had to use them for any services at this time... However I would not even hesitate to consult them when the unfortunate time comes... I attended a memorial service for a family friend a few weeks back and the employees made everyone feel at home and as if we were part of their own family... A+ !!!

Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home has served my family for over 3 generations and in each instance my family was given the utmost respect and dignity, whether our need was a full traditional funeral with burial or a simple direct cremation. I appreciated the light, tasteful interior of the building and always felt the staff connected with me personally.
