Smith - Taylor - Ruggiero Funeral Home offers three kinds of funeral service: Traditional, Memorial and Cremation. The expressed wishes of the deceased as well as their kin determine what the best way to proceed with the funeral. Most often the body is the focal point of the funeral service, sometimes with an open casket, sometimes with a closed casket.
Much attention has been drawn to the "Green Movement" lately. People are concerned about the long term effects of the products they purchase, the vehicles they drive, and the amount of resources they are consuming. Although the "Green" initiative is a recent trend, both Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home since 1900, and Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home since 1865, have offered nature-friendly alternatives to the traditional funeral.
An important part of the funeral is to determine what vessel will contain the remains of the body. At Smith - Taylor - Ruggiero, we help with that process. We have a wide selection of caskets, vaults and urns. Our display room is laid out to give families the opportunity to see and touch our high quality merchandise.

To help relieve the stress of these situations, we are pleased to offer Pre-need Funeral Arrangements. Essentially, Pre-need funeral arrangements, or "Pre-Arrangements, " are a way to plan ahead for yourself, or a loved one, before you are overwhelmed with the stress and grief of a passing.

Smith-Taylor-Ruggiero Funeral Home is a beautiful old Victorian style establishment with a comfortable chapel / viewing area, and quaint side parlor sitting rooms where I could greet family friends and actually have a conversation while reminiscing in view of a picture slide show the Ruggiero brothers put together for me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

I wouldn't bury or cremate anyone here if it was the last place on earth the guy is a joke everything about this place is a joke it's not worth any of your time or money.... If you trying to bury or create a loved one my advice to you is find a better place you will be very disappointed doing it here.
