With an office in Keller, Baker Family Eyecare has been serving the Tarrant County of Texas for more than 12 years. The practice was purchased from Dr. Ralph Butts, who originally established his practice in this same location in the early part of 1972. Dr. Ralph Butts established a reputation of providing a high level of personalized service and possessing expertise knowledge in the optometric field.

Our eye care center offers a full range of eye health services to clients of all ages, from children to older adults: routine eye exams and vision tests, eye disease diagnosis and management, immediate attention for eye emergencies, and complete eye health management. The optometrists our practice provide eyewear prescriptions and offer corrective laser eye surgery co-management as well.

Dr. James Baker is one of the best eye doctors in the mid-cities area. His professional staff always greets us with a big smile, accepts almost all insurance plans, and checks you in right away. Being a veteran himself, Dr. Baker is quite pragmatic in his approach and doesn't push for eye glasses, if there is no need.

Dr. La is the best. She is very thorough with your eye exam. She then explains (in plain English) what tests she has done and the results of all the tests. She also answers any questions you might have. The office staff and her assistants are friendly, caring and genuinely nice. The Baker's are blessed to have them. Baker Family Eyecare is the best place I have ever had the privilege to do business with regarding my eyes.

My family has been going to Dr. Baker & Dr. La almost 10 years now. They are extremely friendly, helpful, family friendly & professional. All 3 of my children had their first eye exams with Dr. La and they are always excited to see her & get their eyes checked. I recommend them to all of my friends when given the opportunity.
