First Eye Care, Inc. is an association of optometrists formed in 1985. Our goal is to have successful practices filled with happy patients. The original 18 doctors maintain independent optometry practices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Southlake and many more. Dr. Jennifer Catuncan is a residency trained optometrist and glaucoma specialist at the First Eye Care Bedford location.
She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association. She is also a proud volunteer for the national InfantSEE program. Collaborating with ophthalmologists in the surrounding area to ensure you to best surgical outcome. We are proud to partner with the following doctors.

Services
Recognizing the need for patients to understand what is expected regarding payment of medical services, we have established our financial policy. Some of these items are required by law. Dr. Catuncan is a great doctor and she’s very nice! However, my problem is with the staff. I called on 11/24 to place an order for my contacts. Due to my prescription it can take 3-4 weeks for them to be made and shipped. I don’t remember who I spoke with, but I’m pretty sure I know who it was. They advised me they placed my order and would let me know when they came in. I called back on 12/20 because I hadn’t heard from them yet and wanted to see if they had an update or anything. I spoke to Gabriel this time. He was very nice and polite. He told me there wasn’t an order placed for me

The doctor is so nice. She ordered me extra trial contacts to see if one might be better than what she has in stock. They have a fantastic selection of frames!! The staff is super friendly and kind too and this business gives back to the community!! First Eye Care in Bedford is my eyeglass place now!!

The office is located a great location and easy to access from the freeway. Dr Catuncan is friendly, professional and answered all my questions. She is an excellent optometrist who I highly recommend and will definitely be a client! Mariella is so helpful and friendly as she conducted the initial exams and took the time to find the right pair of glasses. The dreaded puff eye exam is so much better here: handheld device that Mariella used to check my eyes.
