Acupuncture involves the insertion of a pre-sterilized, one-time-use acupuncture needle into a particular area of the body to promote healing. Acupuncture needles are very thin - as wide as 1-2 strands of hair. In fact, 100 acupuncture needles can fit inside of one doctor's needle. Acupuncture is an integrative medicine that addresses current health issues and prevents future ones from occurring.

I really can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. I initially came in a few months ago for treatment of my migraines and some other concerns. Well, I was greeted by Nick who was very welcoming and geniuinely cared about my issues. We worked out a plan and I'm pleased to say that shortly after my first session I saw a pretty noticible improvement. Nick is very knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and conveys warmth and empathy for his patients which makes the whole experience that much better. Since going thru conventional cancer treatment a few years ago, I have been looking for alternative, effective health care. Palmgren Acupuncture was my first experience with acupuncture. I had had a headache for four weeks and nothing I did seemed to alleviate the pain. It was suggested I try acupuncture. I called for an appointment and they got me in the next day! After a several traumatic events, I had a return of migraines worse than I'd ever experienced. Nick provided acupuncture and other remedies that alleviated my migraines in fewer than ten visits.
