Pulling up to this charming B&B was a true welcome to Trinidad! The room was adorable and perfect. Breakfast was beyond belief good and fresh with a baked apple, pumpkin waffles, and berries with fresh whipped cream.
But the best part of all was the hospitality from Tyler. Not only did he offer to do an emergency load of laundry, he went above and behind when he drove us to the airport after drama with our rental car. Through all of this, Tyler was helpful, cheerful, and easy to reach.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to do so in the future.

This is a hard review to write. My first intention to be honest in a kind way, but also to offer constructive feedback in the hopes of improving the guest experience at Trinidad Bay B&B. We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of October 2021 in the Trinity Alps room. My husband made the reservation that required full payment in March 2021; at the time there was a “no refunds” cancellation policy.
First, some of the positives include: Charming décor and lovely landscaping; a gorgeous view of the Bay; a room with private entrance with lots of natural light and some renovations; comfortable

Made the choice to stay here on our drive down the coast and I am so happy we did! It was our first stay at a B&B but I have a feeling it will never be topped. Everything was wonderful and I already want to plan my next trip!

"WOW!!!" is the word that comes to mind when describing our experience at the Trinidad Bay Bed & Breakfast. Everything from the coastal views and cozy accommodation, to the magnificent hot breakfast delivered to our room, made for an unforgettable experience. The location itself was super ideal - there's a small winery tasting room a stone's throw away, cute shops, and in less than a 30min drive, you can be hiking the Redwoods.

Tyler and Mike are amazing people and it was nice chatting with them. We are already talking about retuning asap! Can't wait to visit again

My husband and I stayed in July 2021, and we cannot adequately say what an excellent experience we had! Tyler is the most gracious host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing- everything you want in a vacation. Tyler was available and attentive to our needs and had great recommendations for local restaurants and adventures. My husband's one criteria for our vacation was a "good breakfast" wherever we stay. We had the BEST breakfasts we've ever had at a B&B! Tyler's 3-course breakfasts are the epitome of delicious hospitality and are truly

The view, the friendly owners and the breakfast was astounding. I can't say enough about the location and this unique gem to stay at for a weekend. Wait...and the mouthwatering home made cookies too. Thank goodness we hiked a lot!

We were welcomed wonderfully and treated the way every guest wants to feel. Tyler went out of his way to make us comfortable. The amenities in the Trinity Alps were perfect from plush towels to a very comfortable bed. For breakfasts our food allergies were respected.

We loved everything about our two night stay. We felt warmly welcomed by Tyler. Our breakfasts were wonderful and even accommodated our food allergies. The views were amazing even from the comfy bed. We planned a two week travel journey around getting there. Our only regret was that our stay wasn't longer.

This complaint is not about the B&B itself. Despite the rave reviews I have read, this about a bad faith lack of responsiveness that boils down to me losing almost $1700, which was essentially pocketed by the owner. A fully prepaid reservation was cancelled because of the COVID shutdown. The cancellation was never acknowledged with an offer of a refund or a credit forward to a future stay there. All my recent communications with the owner about this issue have not even been acknowledged. Very disappointing, to say the very least.

I've found my new favorite B&B in Northern California! I spent four nights here and it's just a dream. I spent my days working from a beautiful nook overlooking the Pacific Ocean (excellent wifi too!) in the Redwoods Room, then spent my time off exploring Redwood National Park.

Tyler and Mike are exceptional hosts. Tyler is so friendly, warm, and thoughtful. He prepared exceptional breakfasts - absolutely gourmet with special touches like fresh flowers from the garden. The rosemary and goat cheese eggs were out of this world. Trinidad B&B has stunning views. The Redwoods room

The Trinidad Bay B&B is the perfect place to recharge, whether you're stopping over for a night working your way along the cost, or spending several days exploring California's north coast. Do not miss a chance to stay here.
The town of Trinidad is wonderful, perched on the bluffs overlooking the stunningly beautiful Trinidad Bay. And the B&B is right at the bluffs' edge and has unobstructed views of the bay, headlands, and harbor. All the rooms have breathtaking views. We stayed upstairs in the Redwoods room, but had a chance to poke our head into the other upstairs

I cannot recommend this place enough. We actually booked the Tidal Pool room for 2 nights and are glad we booked it for an extra night since Trinidad was such a quaint little town to stay in and the view makes me think of something in the Mediterranean when it's sunny. If this room is available, it is by far the best one there so be sure to pay the extra $ for it!

Tyler and Mike are great hosts and the breakfasts are delicious and hearty, and the cookies make for a great afternoon snack after hiking around the area or making a short drive out to the redwoods.

The one time I wish there was a "+" option. This B&B is run perfect. I come from the hospitality industry and rarely, very rarely do I find something to be basically perfect in all categories. Well, Mike and Tyler certainly did it.
We stayed at Tidal Pool and the location with its private patio right at the main attraction of Trinidad with the most amazing view in town is just priceless. The room is large with beautiful selected furniture and a cozy bed. The little things make the difference. Keurig machine with lots of pods, a grand selection of organic teas all

We decided to have a last minute get away and this was the perfect spot! The view from our room and really every room where spectacular. Loved the window seat we had in our room, great place to just sit and take it all in. Tyler is a gracious host who makes delicious cookies on top of having the best towels ever! Seriously best towels ever!!!! Comfortable bed with lots of comfy pillows and blankets. The three course breakfast is amazing and we got to enjoy great conversation with our host while watching the crab boats leave the harbor. You can walk to everything in town from this location even

We stayed at this fabulous B&B in early November 2018. We found it
randomly as we had never even heard of Trinidad Calif. before but we
were not disappointed. Our upstairs room was cozy and perfect in every way. Breakfast was delicious and delightful and we loved visiting with Jason who was so hospitable and kind. We would drive out of our way to stay at the Trinidad Bay B&B again. The Ocean view is amazing too and we enjoyed our morning walk before our departure.
I have verbally recommended it to many friends and am finally getting this online review written. Five stars

We were totally thrilled with our stay. Ty and Michael are perfect hosts - friendly, interested in their guests' well being and comfort; very knowledgeable and helpful about the area; and the breakfasts are unbelievable!

And then there's the Inn. Cozy, comfortable, very tastefully decorated, and with a spectacular view of the harbor from every window. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are good sized, and everything is spotless. And it's an easy drive to the Redwoods as well.

I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!

This is my idea of a perfect B&B

I stayed here with my boyfriend as we were making our way from Portland to LA along the 101, and it was absolutely charming. Our room was spacious, and clean, it felt like we were in Cape Cod! I'm a devil for the details, and this place really thought through every moment of our experience, from the fresh baked cookies upon our arrival, to the cozy slippers in the closet, I really felt taken care of, whisked away!

I loved the breakfast of fresh squeezed OJ, coffee, berries & cream, pumpkin waffles, and baked apple.

You can't beat the view from the room, overlooking the Trinidad

My mom and I had a great time during our 1-night stay at this B&B. Tyler was an amazing host. He greeted us with warm cookies. We stayed in the "Redwoods" room which was gorgeously decorated with great attention to detail. The 3 course breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this charming B&B.
