I called Malibu A&B Plumbing because of dwindling water pressure in our house and a very big water leak in the backyard. Rodolpho and Jose did an excellent job of assessing the problem and fixing it in a reasonable amount of time. They replaced the old water pressure regulator with a high quality new one, repaired the leaking pipe in the yard, and put parts on the broken water pressure pump so it runs as good as new. I can’t thank them enough - they were smart, thoughtful and conscientious. I will definitely use Malibu A&B Plumbing and Electric again.

Rip OFF!
I called the company and spoke with Karen who told me clearly that A&B Plumbing must have my credit card information to advance charge $98 for the visit and that the amount will apply towards the repair. I agreed and gave her my credit card information. Thereafter, I sent her an email confirming our agreement. Four hours later I received a call from a guy Jose who said that he's the supervisor and that the $98 will not apply towards the repair but it is just a fee for them to come to the house. The house is up the hill from their location - 7 min. drive. I thought that was a rip OFF!

I was referred to A&B Plumbing to help me solve some major issues with my septic system. It had seemed like all hope was lost and these guys sent out an experienced technician the next day who answered all my questions and came up with solid solutions to solve my problems. This is the first review I’ve ever written, and I like to give local businesses the benefit of the doubt however I feel compelled to protect my neighbors in the community. I live in Malibu, and I grew up here. These guys lied about being licensed, the price changed three times, and just awful service and dishonesty by the lead plumber Lupe. Stay away

I needed to have a sink replaced. The bids I got from other plumbers were in the 400 dollar range. These guys sent one person who told me it was really complicated, quoted 800 and left after fifteen minutes of talking to his boss about how complicated it was on the phone.
I told him the other bids were lower. His boss called me 4 hours later and told me it would actually cost 1200 and then tried to convince me the bids from other plumbers were not for quality work.
Then they charged me 100 dollars for the 15 minutes it took them to drive over to my house, four miles away from their headquarters

Its a malibu hardware store. Its small, its cramped, it has limited supplies. But I would have expected that for a tiny neighborhood hardware store in Malibu. Its expensive, but you have to expect that. If you dont like the prices then drive 30 minutes to home depot and get what you want at half the price and drive the next 30 minutes home. Some reviewers are not so smart. I have never had work done by them, so I cant say anything about those issues. But they generally have what I need in a pinch. Expect to pay almost double of standard home depot prices.

One of the best plumbing experiences that I have had in a very long time. They came on time and the guy was very quick to diagnosed the problem. My main drain was clogged with tree roots and needed to be snaked or hydrojetted in order for my drains to flow again. We went with the snaking which worked great. All drains are draining with ease and we are happy with the work that was done.

The absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. Honestly, I have never written a bad review in my entire life. I feel like I'm very understanding and patient. I called this company to have a technician come out to the property. By the way, I called them because I had them come fix something two weeks ago and they informed me that the appliance wasnt broken, turns out that was incorrect. They then confirmed for the next morning between 9-10. They never showed up. My Central A/C stopped working during the heat wave this week. A&B arrived in the morning, diagnosed the problem, drove to a local supplier to obtain the part, came back to the house a 2nd time to install the part and was able to fix the problem after the initial diagnosis. During this time I read a lot of negative reviews but was pleased with a very reasonable charge for the labor and part price which was under $300. Considering the two hours of labor, the price of the part and additional labor they put in to acquire the correct part, I don't see how any vendor could charge any less than they

These people are complete scam artist. I had them come out to pump my septic system. They did this and then told me I had other problems with my tank that had to be repaired. They told me I needed a filter so I had it put on. Then they decided my pipe coming into the the tank was broken. I had not had a problem with it working before. I was going to have it repaired to but it just kept on going. More and more was added until I said not to $75. dollars for one guy and $60. for the second guy to dig more than had already been dug.
