A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier.

Dr. Adams has been my dentist for over thirty years now. I used to work right across the freeway from her office, but even after moving to Sacramento 23 years ago I've never even considered trying to find a dentist closer to home. My experience in her office was stellar. She donated a general check up and tooth whitening package to the local school district to support the community and I was the lucky winner in the auction. I do not go to the dentist very often as an adult so I needed new x-rays/cleaning/check up before I got my whitening.
She is a wonderful and caring dentist and her staff is superb. I have never had a more thorough exam in my entire life and she did not cut any corners. I trust her and felt that she had my best interest in mind.

She rocks!!!!! I knew from the very beginning that I would be in good hands. So of course the first question I ask is if they are taking new patients and the lovely young blonde answers yes. So we get me booked to come in and do some x-rays.. I also notice that Dr. Adams has done some volunteer work.
So they day of the appointment I am able to come in a little bit earlier. It so turns out that the young lady working up front is her daughter.
So they talk to my periodontists office and it turns out that I need x-rays, pictures taken to.

I have spent decades trying to explain to dental professionals my low pain threshold and high tolerance to numbing agents. Tamra did not even need my input. She is naturally sensitive to her clients comfort levels and was remarkably effective at minimizing (even eliminating) my pain.
Her staff is friendly and efficient; a very nice combination. There seems to be a rapport among the people in the office and it contributes to a pleasant environment and fast and effective service.
I simply cannot recommend her strongly enough.

Tamra has been my dentist for the last 25 years. In addition to being a kind and caring person, she is technically excellent. She has strong steady hands and goes the extra mile to ensure her patients are comfortable. She has done everything for me including replacing old fillings from childhood, regular fillings, crowns, and a cosmetic repair on a tooth I chipped (she even did it on emergency notice since I was leaving for a trip the next day and didn't charge me extra).
