Polgold Jewelers was founded in 1994 by Mirek Plewa, a master jeweler with a deep appreciation for diamonds and fine jewelry, and his wife Michelle. Growing up overseas, Mirek began an apprenticeship in the jewelry trade at a very young age. After immigrating to the United States in 1989, Mirek supported his family by repairing jewelry for multiple jewelry stores.
Long hours and late nights on the bench motivated Michelle to begin learning the jewelry trade. She quickly developed a love and devotion for jewelry that ultimately lead the young couple to the opening of their own jewelry store. After many years of hard work, dedication and sacrifice, Polgold Jewelers had established itself as a well-known and trusted jewelry store.

Never again will I sell something to these thief’s.I sold an 18 karat gold chain my mother gave me it was just over an ounce of gold was paid 14 karat price .. I realized the mistake although 18 was stamped right on it the owner himself said he would get back to me still waiting.. Then recently I sold a 14 kt bracelet was paid worse than pawnshop price the same employee screwed me again!!!!!

I brought in my ring that my mother gave me. The stone fell out and I needed it put back onto the ring. When they gave me my ring it was absolutely beautiful and looked brand new. It sparkled!! They were very kind and professional. I had a great experience and will definitely return for any other jewelry issues, as well as buying a few pieces from them. They have beautiful pieces on display!!

I was directed there by a family member to look at a Birthstone ring for my fiancee.I arrived early and waited for Polgold to open.I peaked in the windows as I waited and said to myself this jewelry store lacks the frills of the big stores.All I can tell you is 1.Read the reviews,2.Never judge a book by its cover,and finally,3 GO IN.Bought the Birthstone ring for my Fiancee and its gorgeous!!!She loves it.I met the owner and Jay the salesman.I am also in sales so recognize the signs of a person pushing for a commission.Not Jay.If you want to shop at the glitzy Jewelry stores go right ahead!!!
