I will never willingly take a child here again. I scheduled an appointment for two of my children, and was told the five year old would be seen in a common area without a parent present, but the two year old would be seen in a private room with a parent.
After more thought, we called in advance to cancel the five year old's appointment, but kept the two year old's. After securing child care for two of our children and driving an hour with the toddler and nursing infant, my wife was informed at the time of the appointment that because we weren't comfortable with our five year old being seen on

Carolina West Dental denied both of my children dental care because of a dental emergency my son suddenly suffered from. We had to schedule the emergency operation elsewhere because Carolina west dental could not schedule an appointment for my son in a timely manner and the situation could not wait. We were told by the staff at Carolina west dental that they would no longer see us as patients because we saw another dentist for my son's dental emergency. This is the epitome of unprofessionalism and is totally disgusting business practice. I would not recommend using Carolina West Dental in Waynesville

My eight year old daughter has a tooth that is broke off and it is one of her permanents. Her primary dentist cannot see her till after the first of the year. This place will not do any kind of emergency service for our children unless we take them there all the time. In my personal opinion I wouldn't let them touch my dog spread the word let's shut them down

Horrible customer service, canceled my children's appointment without letting me know after I took the day off from work and got them out of school early. Never really had a good experience with them but I tolerated them out of convenience, this was the final straw! Asked for a supervisor and was told they would call me back!

Called to make a new patient appointment for my youngest son (my oldest son’s dentist is not accepting new patients right now) and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. I let her know that I would make an appointment somewhere else and was not interested in any services they offered. That was the WORST experience I have ever had with “customer service” at a healthcare facility. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I just got off the phone with the owner of this dentist office.
I had an issue with something that happened during a visit that my child had last week and instead of brushing me off...the owner herself called me to explain and apologize.
She took the time to hear me out and let me know the steps she took to ensure that an issue would not happen again for my child or anyone else's.
I found this to be highly professional and I will continue to only trust this practice with my child. I also recommend this practice to all my mom and dad friends.

The staff are sweet but know nothing about dental care. They filed down the serrations on my teeth without asking, as well as shaving my bottom incisors into a U shape, and ground down my molars to the spongy soft layer. I'm extremely displeased with their practices. I was fine with my teeth, wonky or not, and now I'm seeking veneers.
