Invisalign is a series of computer generated clear aligners/retainers that fit over the surface of a patient's upper and lower teeth. Invisalign uses aligners that straighten teeth over time; these aligners are to be worn for a two week period of time. In years past, Invisalign was only used to treat mild to moderate crowding or spacing between teeth.

As someone who has always had dentist anxiety, Dr. Liz and her team seem to have a way to make everyone comfortable (given any situation, or dental work being performed). I’ve never seen such a competent and well informed group of people assist patients.

I love Smoky Mountain Dentistry, if you can love dentists! My family have been with them since they first opened in downtown Waynesville. Always caring. Explain things so well. Also, fun to be around. My parents and children also go here. I value their opinions concerning my teeth and health. Have a great staff. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is by far the best experience and yes I am talking about a dentist office. By far the best experience that I have ever had. Every single person there is so kind and they do everything they can to make your treatment plan the best that it can be for you as an individual. I was blessed to be taken care of twice by these folks and like I said in the beginning I highly recommend them!

Their office and the rooms are so updated brand new everything and you are treated like you are in a spa. I did not mind any procedure there during the entire visit. When I had to make a return visit, I was not frightened. I did not feel the novacaine. I am a Christian lady and the assistant prayed with me before my procedure. At one point I raised my hand to tell the doctor I was frightened (no reason to be, nothing was painful), and he was so compassionate. I just laid right back and allowed him to finish. No problems. I called a couple times to talk and they would call me right back.

Dr. Liz Ferguson and her staff go above and beyond their roles to make sure that I was comfortable, well informed and supported in all that was being done. My dentist is a superbowl winning quarterback. She makes sure everyone involved is well informed. I recommend Smoky Mountain Dentistry to all as they are on the cutting edge of modern dentistry from fillings to implants. Great job team.

Everyone on staff is kind and considerate. They are great about returning calls and making the administrative stuff as seamless as possible. The office is clean and welcoming. After almost 4 years search, I have finally found a dentist in North Carolina who I feel like genuinely cares for my dental health and does quality work. I came in as a new patient with trouble getting my records from the dentist in Orlando where I used to live (they closed apparently). I had several different issues going on at once. My family’s dentist since I was a kid- they have taken such great care of us for several generations now. Always kind and happy to see you again, and they truly care about their patients. They make a trip to the dentist about as pleasant as humanly possible! New, clean facility, and having orthodontic services right there in the same place is very convenient too. 👍🏻👍🏻

Genuinely caring family atmosphere from reception to examination. Christy could not have been more professional from explaining every step in cleaning to preventive care. She was excellent. Doctor was wonderful and made me feel comfortable and welcome. I fully recommend this practice for any dental need.
