For 12 years since coming to Homestead I have been a client of another animal clinic. However, on 2 November my dog had an serious emergency. He manager at the other clinic turned us away as she said all their appointments were full. I went to Southland even though I had never been there. The lot was full of regular clients but Dr. Toledo immediately took my dog in and proceeded to treat him. It took treatments over 3deays but Dr. Toledo saved my dog’s life. I highly recommend Dr. Toledo and Southland.

Traditionally I am skeptical of veterinarians, primarily because of the cost and the need to trust the vet's opinion/diagnosis and treatment. This past summer one of our [3] dogs had an issue that had to be surgically address by a vet. After doing research, we brought him to Dr. Toledo and Southland Animal Hospital.
For those that do not speak Spanish it can be difficult navigating the language barrier in Miami, but this was not the case at Southland. The staff is attentive and friendly, always asking about our other dogs when we bring one of our dogs in.

They are very pleasant and professional. We have boarded our fir baby numerous times. They really take excellent care of him. He is eager to go with them. We’ve used other places with other dogs and this one is the best!!! You can leave your pet and have peace of mind that they will be cared for like family!

While I don't have any photos my experience with this hospital, it was Picture Perfect from Day 1. Our brand new 2 month old puppy ( who was gifted to us) apparently was having a diabetic episode. After trying two different overnight animal hospitals, to no avail, we were forced to wait until regular business hours. I called Southland Animal hospital, whom was referred to me by a friend. Alicia answered when I called and I guess she could here the desperation and despair in my voice. And as a courtesy, she allowed us to bring our puppy in. I was too elated! Everyone we encountered that day was

I could not be more pleased with Dr. Toledo, Eva and staff. We have been coming to Southland Hospital for 11 years now but this week really showed what a top notch staff they have. Our dog was bit by another dog and the level of care they took to make sure all of my concerns and questions were answered was outstanding. Our dog is now on day 2 of healing and already back to her normal happy self. Thank you to the entire staff of Southland Animal hospital but especially Dr. T and Eva who treated us like family.

Came here because our cat was injured, it says they provide emergency and urgent care so we went hoping they could help our pet. We were told they no longer provide emergency and urgent care, they only do appointment only and they only have one doctor. The best thing they did was recommend another animal hospital. Call before going since they no longer provide emergency and urgent care.

Man! Great clinic. I made the switch. From now on, my vet is Dr. Toledo. Great staff. Great service. Awesome attention to details. And on top, they offer coffee, colada! I have no complaints. I recommend to see Dr. Toledo and his staff for anything related your beautiful loved pets. They will treat you with the same compassion and love one feels for our furry companions. Even after losing ur dear Frou-frou, Dr Toledo and his staff felt our pain and are very grateful for this. Thank you Dr and thank you staff. You ladies rock!
