Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.

So I took in my dog for an emergency visit after he started yelping after eating his first meal. He was hunched over, couldn't walk and would fall over in pain. I took him into Kendall Drive Animal Hospital. They asked me to do the usual, fill out the paperwork and I would have to leave him, because the vet wasn't in at the time. I specifically said, to only do the basic treatments blood work and x-rays, anything else I wanted to be advised before treatment. Long story short, when I got there they had given my dog 3 different shots, all of which weren't needed at all. They said

I have been taking my 3 dogs to Kendall Drive Animal Hospital since 2009. They have always been so wonderful at taking care of my dogs and also very courteous to me and whomever in my family brings them in for care. Dr. Gusman saved my Chloe's life after she was attacked by another vicious dog. I will never forget the care they gave her to keep her alive. He has always explained everything in detail so that I could understand each health issue any of my furbabies would be experiencing. Someone from the office always call for an update on how they my furbabies are doing. Genuinely caring.

My " Scoop" was very sick last month, she got high fever and had not eaten anything for almost 2 days.
The staff and doctor took care of her right away. I'm so grateful. My friend told me that if I did not take her to see veterinarian. I may loose her.

Staffs are very nice , knowledgeable and professional. They gave me consult over the phone and followed up the case. I save some bucks with their plan as well.

Thank you so much for saving Scoop!

I love this place and so does my baby Vera. The doctor is so sweet and he always calls a few days later to check on the progress of my dog! Friendly staff and just overall very professional. The only regret I have it's not taking Vera earlier to them.

Ill start with the most recent events. The person who took my call just called me a racist for pointing out the fact that no one speaks English in That clinic. Despite my ethnic Nicaraguan decent lol.
She yelled RACIST WE ARE IN MIAMI HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT. I replied "And Miami is in America and in America we speak .... English
And I'll Tell it to my grandmother who only speaks Spanish. I'm stating facts I'm not being rude the fact is not one of their staff speaks English period.
My kitten was sneezing and had swelling of her eye. $40 exam fee and the alleged vet never introduces

The vet techs at this vet clinic were quite friendly and sweet with my cat who was suffering from an allergic reaction to grain. They saw that she was scared and were quite gentle with her which is quite important to me. I don't tend to give my business to places that mistreat me or my pets. The vet is professional, to the point, not very personable but he's thorough with the exam. He answered all my questions and was understanding of my concerns.

The reason I gave the clinic 4 stars and not 5 was because of the waiting times to be seen, for me it was close to an hour. I understand

If I can give it less than one star I would. I went today with my dog who got in a fight and could barely walk, doing really bad. The nurse took forever and when I was calling her she would keep talking to someone in the back. When I finally got her attention and myself crying I tell her my dog is doing bad she said the doctor was busy in surgery that I would need to go somewhere else. Seriously !!? Horrible place

I don't think they know how appointments work. If you make an appointment at 9:45 and you get there at 9:30 I would hope that any place will have you and your pet in by 9:45-9:50 the latest. They have no regard for people's time and simply don't care to fix it. A customer that came in after me, waited for no more than 5 minutes said hi to the nurse and went right in. How is this possible? Don't overbook yourself if your 3 person staff can't handle it on a Saturday. Seriously don't bother making appointments with them, much less for grooming. We left our dog at 10am

I received a phone call a couple days ago from this facility asking me if I wanted to take my cat in for $45. I went ahead and scheduled the appt since I've been here before. I went in today (planning on paying w the Groupon price in person) The Groupon price is currently $42 (screenshot). When I go to pay, it's $60 without a proper explanation. I received blank stares while they waited for my debit card (money hungry) the 3 girls in the front desk couldn't help but give me a condescending attitude without proper validation for the pricing. I obviously don't mind paying

I don't do reviews. But after today, I feel that others needs to understand how this place carries their business and provide service to the public. We have been coming here for years because it's cheap. They have a groupons available that we have used time and time again with no issues. Recently, there was an issue. We made our appointment for Tuesday. A family member was sent with the dog because unfortunately I was not a available during the few days during the week that they see Groupon related clients. I guess if you pay less you're not viewed as a client that is worthy enough

I will never return to this animal hospital. I went to this animal hospital because they accept my dog's insurance (I normally go to Eureka Animal Clinic-- Dr. Alonso there is GREAT!).

The girls at the front desk were very nice and attentive. I sat in the nice waiting room and waited to be seen. Once in the room, the vet tech came in, and then the vet, who never introduced himself (he's hispanic with hair down to his shoulders).

I told the vet I was there because of a small ball/growth on my shih-tzu's back. He immediately started explaining how she needed immediate surgery to

I'm not sure why this godforsaken place is still open.

Read this very carefully! These people are crooks and have no knowledge of anything, none the less in veterinary medicine.

We were bringing my dog here for quite some time because the location was convenient. Dr. Quintero seemed like a knowledgeable professional who knew what he was doing, and Janet the office manager seemed to care about our pet.

Boy were we wrong! Our dog wasn't urinating properly and we called them and asked them if we should bring her in, and they told us to wait it out, shortly after she was diagnosed with
