I haven't eaten out in a while anywhere! I wanted some tacos and to just fellowship with my folks! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ From entry, seating, server(she was AWESOME Alegandra) chips/salsa, drinks and food was plated excellant hot and GREAT! Thank you Fernando's on this evening Friday 1/21/2022 for such a pleasant dining experience !

This use to be my place for good food and great people to talk to. Not anymore!! The food is so, so, prices have gone up so much no food specials. The staff is a joke!! The bartender charged me 3 times. The food is not great at all!! I would not waste my money coming just to eat. I would go somewhere else.

I ordered an order of tacos de Carne Asada. When I got home what I got was a horrible excuse for what should be skirt steak with minimal amounts of steak on the tacos. To top it all off instead of refried beans and Mexican rice like you would get at any other Mexican restaurant I got this half filled container of baked beans which is pictured below. If I wanted baked beans I would have went to a barbecue restaurant. This Mexican restaurant used to be the best you could get in Dacula and now is the worst.

My entire experience was horrible. The restaurant was not super busy so we thought the service and experience was going to be amazing but we were completely wrong. Someone came by and dropped chips with salsa off on the edge of the table without saying a word. After waiting 15 minutes for a server, I decided to ask the hostess could we have someone take our order. Several minutes later a server came, she did not introduce herself. She said in a very nasty tone what do you want to drink. We placed our drink order with her and she brought us water to the table and when we tried to place our order

My husband and I use to go here all the time when we lived in the Dacula and the food and staff was always great! We recently moved closer to Atlanta and decided to drive to Dacula to eat here and everything changed the new staff sucks and the food isn't the same. The manager is super rude and needs to learn management skills. They literally threw away our food that were in to go boxes and the manager expected us to pay for it. He started "acting" like a manager when we almost got the police involved. I only gave them a 2 star because of our past experience with this restaurant was

We use to go here a lot few years back. This place must be under new ownership because it was terrible this time.
Ordered guacamole and it came out in a hot bowl but the guacamole was cold even frozen in places.
One meal contained but meat but frozen guacamole.
Way to expensive and the food is terrible.

I called over the phone my… order to pick up after work, and someone answered. there was some major misunderstanding which was fine. things happen and I was in the car and the guy I was talking to, our accents together wasnt going well. I get there and I wanted to confirm my order and the guy was like yeah, that was me and u ordered (x). and i said no, this is why i wanted to confirm when i got there cause there

As “newer” residents to Dacula, we have found our favorite restaurant to be Fernandos! I read great reviews and bad reviews.. I really wish people took the time and consideration that unfortunately COVID/Government has caused so many locally own small businesses to close their doors. Have we not realized how ridiculous it’s been to get people… back to work? Fernandos like so many other restaurants are doing the best they can to stay staffed including the cooks.. With that being said we LOVE Fernandos on their good days and on their not so good days. Tonight was a good night

Your run of the mill neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Would give this place a 4.5 stars if I could!
My only complaint would be that the outdoor seating smells like smoke which was unpleasant for me but I understand that having that option can be a draw for others.
Chips come as you get seating and the food and service and good and quick!
This place reminds me of the Mexican restaurant near my home town and so hope you get the same experience as well.

Disappointing. Fernando's use to be a great place. Today, our food was overcooked and bland. We ordered cheese dip with jalapeños, which was fine, but overpriced for the portion.
One ordered bang bang shrimp tacos, one ordered the sampler tacos and one ordered the steak fajitas. The bang bang shrimp were sautéed in a sweet sauce and topped with cilantro. They were tasty. The sampler tacos and steak fajitas were overcooked and dry. The tacos weren't dressed, just meat and corn tortillas, with no toppings. It was strange. The steak fajitas were ok, just flavorless. I would give 0 if there is an option. Manager there or she might be a cashier long curly black hair has the most bad attitude ever. No hello no goodbye. I've eaten there twice before. Food is not great The staff there is very friendly but the cashier or she called herself a manager has the worst attitude ever. Worst restaurant I ever been. I went there on doordash I do for my spare time. Because I wasn't a customer, she basically treat me like I'm piece of s$&@!!! I recommend another Mexican restaurant mile away from Fernando's. It's call El fogon. They are very friendly

Went on a Sunday night and it was not crowded at all. $5 Margarita specials is nothing but the mix and no alcohol. The taco salad was not good and filled to the top with the fake shredded chicken, which i tried to get it changed for another type of chicken but waitress refused. Too long waiting for waitress. I won't be back.

Food was amazing and so was the service/staff! I got the Shrimp a la Diabla and my husband got the wings (they were doing a special). The shrimp was so good and cooked perfectly. I love extremely spicy food, and the sauce was the perfect level of spice and flavor. My husband couldn't get enough of the wings. He said they were better than some of his favorite wing spots. We'll definitely be coming back here more often.

This is a great place to come for a small party but the restaurant isn't prepared for large gatherings, even if you give them several days notice. Very disappointed in this establishment, it's lack of preparedness and lackluster management.
Thankfully our server was incredible even though he was placed by himself with two large parties.

I love going to Fernando's! I've been 3 times and have never been disappointed!
1- cinco de mayo with some friends which resulted in live music, great food, and delicious drinks
2- their breakfast on Sundays. AMAZING. They have a breakfast buffet on Sundays that features Mexican and American style items, including tacos, carnitas, homemade blueberry pancakes, and omelettes. So freaking yummy and beyond affordable.
3- went with my parents for lunch one day. Our server Jose was so friendly, and also Colombian. He was very helpful with suggestions and everyone loved what they got.

Been coming to this place since I moved to Dacula 7 years ago. Tonight is the last time. Ordered a chimichanga, and halfway through it I felt a crunch... is it a bone? Is it some raw veggie that made its way into the dish? Nope! It was a cockroach! Yup, it's in pieces because I unknowingly bit into it. I've weathered bad service, horrible singers, and packed house. Well... not anymore. I draw the the line at bugs.

We stopped here on the way to a friend's house as we were running a little early. Go figure. Good cozy feel. Lots of booths so love the environment - it was a good crowd -Auburn v. UGA on - but didn't feel too loud considering the sportsing going on. We had cheese dip, chips and salsa, and frozen house margaritas. Won't lie the pineapple jalapeño Paloma sounded enticing and I will try it next time. Yum!!!

This place is a complete shocker to me. From the outside of the facility to the inside. I was absolutely blown away. From the look of it, you would never think the place was a nice place, and even when you walk into the facility, you may feel the same. (it is very quaint and homey, not upscale).
