I’ve only been here a few months but I’m very happy! There are not a lot of low income retirement homes around. Discovery View definitely exceeded my expectations! The food is great and there are activities to enhance your experience. The staff is great! And the apartments are very spacious and comfortable. Most would find the cost to be at least double at other retirement places.

Nice facility. Building is clean and maintenance is excellent. Tasty meals and housekeeping are part of the package. It's a great $ value. In the local market, it is about one third the cost of basic assisted living. Let me repeat. Value! The crew is caring and as accommodating as possible.

My elderly father has been here for over 3 years, and it has been the perfect place for him. They offer just enough assistance, with two meals a day and apartment cleaning; in addition they are more than willing to work with us as his care needs change over time. They include trips to the store, to town, to some events; they have had group book readings, crafts at times, there is an on site library and group activity room, they recognize birthdays; it's all quite lovely. This place is not large and it's not high end, but it's really nice. The staff are sweet and sincere, kind and very helpful,
