Services
The mission of Wellington Meadows and our parent company, Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing Inc., is to serve elderly and disabled individuals by providing quality housing, healthcare and other services to enhance the lives of those we serve. As a 501c3 non-profit our main goal is service, not making a profit.
To provide the best care and convenience to our residents, we offer in-home healthcare at Wellington Meadows through our sister company, Transitions At Home, although you are encouraged to use the home health agency of your choice. Transitions provides medical care and rehab therapy using licensed RNs and therapists, and home health aides.
Join our team of caregivers who've discovered the rewards of a healthcare career in senior care. RAs and CNAs are in demand. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, plus the reward of knowing at the end of each day, you've helped someone have greater quality of life. Certified nursing assistants (CNAs) take a short course, often given by the American Red Cross or a community college.
Your tax-deductible gift helps support our mission to serve seniors and their families during times of big life changes. We believe everyone deserves quality care, but many seniors and their families struggle to pay for the high cost of assisted living. We accept Medicaid but reimbursement doesn't cover the cost of care.
It is estimated that one million Americans live in more than 20,000 assisted living communities. Assisted living residents can be young or old, affluent or low income, frail or disabled. Residents may suffer from mild Alzheimer's disease or memory disorders, or may simply need help with mobility, incontinence or other challenges.
