I was introduced to this salon by a former coworker of mine who always looked on-pointe every single time she came back from having her hair done. She told me that she’s been going there for years and she would absolutely recommend them to everyone. My daughter had a very bad experience at a previous hairdresser, so I decided to give Illusions a try. She wanted her hair dyed a certain way and a certain color. I was waiting for 30 minutes to get my haircut and when it began i explained to the gentleman how my hair shrinks and how it works and he started to wet it and cut at the area i wanted it to be when it was dry, so already it was way to short. not to mention it looked like her layered my hair which you never do with curly hair, and on top of that he was extremely aggressive and cut my hair in like 7 minutes after looking at a picture for like 30 seconds. The customer service is very good though. they gave me a refund and offered to try and fix it. unfortunately the only way to fix it is to buzz

Shelby, the stylist who helped me with a color correction as my gray grows out was awesome. She took time to chat with me before the process to find out what I wanted to achieve - then she got to work. I couldn't be more pleased!!! When I came in I had let my color grow off for a month. I not only had a skunk stripe, but my color had faded to an orange/gold color - no longer brown. Shelby added in highlights, lowlights and toners to help my gray blend and get rid of the awful orange/gold color. She is truly a master artist. She even massaged my neck to make it feel better after I mentioned

Shelby is the best! Color is always tough with a stylist that is new to you. Tough on the stylist as well because they don’t know how YOUR hair will react. As a knowledgeable, experienced stylist, Shelby gave me exactly what I wanted and it looks fabulous! I am happy to say that I have found my stylist and I couldn’t be more pleased. Had a standard mani/pedi. Not to spoil the polish I even had the cashier take the credit card out of my purse and return it to my purse. Over an hour later I noticed the polish was still not dry. In fact it just rolled off my nails like wet putty. Called the salon to inform them of the situation. I was given the option of returning and redoing or a credit. Since I had recently had surgery it was difficult for me to return so I requested a credit. Five days later and no credit has come through on my account. Called again and spoke to the owner. My long term hair dresser moved to Austria 3 years ago and since I had been unable to find someone who actually knew how to color and style hair, until now. I called last week after a botched self inflicted box color hair dying incident. Red in all the wrong places, I came to see Emily who sympathized and proceeded to perform her magic. I now have golden brown hair with caramel highlights. My hair felt like straw and now it is silky soft. I endured a week of humiliation with the red, but now I have a home for my hair care. I have been going to this Salon for a couple of years. This Salon is just what I was looking for a place where I feel welcomed by all & comfortable each every time. My hairstylist Shelby is a great stylist & colorist. She is very accommodating to my needs & as sweet as they come. Everyone is friendly & the owner Sonya has indeed put forth a great team & great Salon. I would recommend this Salon for anyone who wants great service & a very comfortable atmosphere. The most unprofessional salon I have ever been to in my life. I had an issue and called and asked to speak with the owner. . She was busy and said she would call me back. Never got a call back. I called back Again and the owner Sonya didn't resolve the issue. She's rude, callous, and downright unprofessional. She has no idea how to run a business. She has no customer service skills whatsoever. The combination of watching her walk around barking at everyone and her not giving a care about the customers is enough for me to not step foot in that dump again. I tell everyone I know not to
