Fritze's BBQ & Catering offers a variety of menu selections, from our famous BBQ fare with smoked meat and sides, to a custom designed menu just for your event. We recommend at least one week notice for a full-service catering event and 48 hours for a delivery. During the busy season and holidays, we may require more.

We specialize in 'hearty appetizers' prepared fresh on-site on our specially designed table-top grills. If your event needs appetizers before or after the meal or as the main event, we can help you plan the quantities needed.
We generally serve our delicious catered meals buffet style and use quality disposables. However, we also offer seated meals with a beautiful china setting. The 13 piece setting of white china with a silver rim includes 3 plates (dinner, salad & dessert), a bowl, flatware, tea glass, linen napkins and optional wine glass.
Fritze's BBQ & Catering offers a delivery service (minimum of 15 people or the food equivalent). A delivery must be arranged through our catering team in advance. We recommend at least 48 hours notice for a delivery. During the busy season and holidays, we may require more. Our team will deliver the food at the time requested and set it up on the tables provided.

Arrived here shortly before closing and were treated like the first customers of the day. That always speaks volumes when a restaurant greets the last customers with as much gusto and pride as they do at the first at the beginning of their day.
We both had brisket sandwiches which were very good, and while I tried the macaroni salad, hubs tried the potato salad. Both were great but the macaroni salad (the staff favorite) was the supreme winner of everything we had this particular evening. I could have made a meal on just that. As a side note, they also had great tea!

Very fresh food. Baked potatoes were delicious - piping hot and full of tasty toppings. BBQ chicken was very tender and juicy. Coleslaw was very crunchy and creamy, perfectly seasoned, it was a refreshing touch to the meal. Potato salad was very good. Iced tea was flavorful especially with a fresh lemon wedge. And a very friendly and welcoming service made my visit extra special. I had a very tasty, comfort, homemade food with a great southern service.

With the new owner the things are much better. There is always someone in the drive through or inside ordering food. Their coleslaw, potato salad, spuds, pulled pork and beef, bbq sauce are good. Sweet tea is always fresh. Great that they have paper towels on the tables and hot sauce. Plenty of parking. Friendly service.

If you are looking for authentic Texas barbecue, try this is a local favorite since 2007. The folks at this restaurant are very friendly and aim to please. They have the best smoked ribs that just fall off the bones and don't need BBQ sauce. While their BBQ sauce is amazing, it's not needed for the tender and flavorful meat. I requested marbled brisket which was so tender and melts in your mouth. We ordered the 2 meat plates with 2 sides which was very filling! Highly recommend if you are in Boerne. Or just make the drive to visit Boerne stroll down beautiful Main St and stop by Fritze's BBQ

This place is amazing. Always have had a great experience. The staff is prompt to welcome you even if busy, they are attentive to your questions and ordering. After staying away from fritzes for 2+ years I decided to go back to give them another chance. Glad I did because it was really much better. The creamed corn is not great but the macaroni salad was great and the chopped beef sandwich was great. Still not quite as good as Klein's bbq down the street but it has seating and Klein's doesn't.

The pulled pork sandwich is smoky and delicious. Green beans have a great slow-cooked, homemade flavor. Management and employees are always super friendly and helpful. Had someone back into our truck recently while at their drives through and staff came outside right away to check and make sure everyone was ok. Good food made by good people.

Took a drive with the family to the hill country and were looking for a great BBQ place, cause I love trying and reviewing different places. Found another great BBQ place.
Wonderful tasting BBQ and sides: Brisket, prime rib, loaded potato (Spud), macaroni salad, potato salad, cucumber salad & dessert! Looking for great BBQ check this place out! Oh and let me not forget the wonderful staff so nice and friendly!! We will definitely be back!!

Delicious! The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The green means we're well-seasoned and thoroughly cooked. (I don't like crunchy green beans.). The only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars is the potato salad. It reminds me of something you'd pick up at Sam's Club. Although good, I prefer homemade potato as a side to juicy BBQ. I typically go through the drive-thru and the service is always great. The employees are friendly and always get my order right! I'll be back.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the bread (bun) they use for sandwiches. It's not strong enough for the massive amount of meat on it! It's very flavorful. I never even used the BBQ sauce they gave me, there was no need to! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. FYI, you gotta have the onions! I know, it sounds stupid, but there's something going on with their onions, trust me!

It was our first time in there. The BBQ food was so delicious. We are new to the area and was looking for some good BBQ. We have finally found it. Can't wait to go back again. They said they even have all you can eat sides. We had the Brisket and Pork Ribs with Pinto Beans, Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad.

Wow. Classic Texas BBQ that went way beyond our expectations! Sausage, spicy jalapeño sausage, chopped beef and prime rib were all DELICIOUS and melt in your mouth. The barbecue sauce was unique and a perfect combination to tie the meal together. The sides were awesome as well: we tried the potato salad, cucumber salad, dill slaw (healthy option and still great) and green beans. The smorgasbord came with seasoned onions, pickles and jalapeños. Honestly some of the best barbecue I've ever had and enjoyed every bite. One of several BBQ places in Boerne. Get there before noon for lunch. It fills up pretty quick. Their meats are tasty, cooked just right. Juicy. The pulled park is really good, as is the brisket. They offer daily specials. Today's was beef tenderloin with two sides and a drink for $12.99. Not bad.
I had a stuffed potato with brisket for $7.99. A large potato with a generous portion of chopped brisket. My friend had the pulled park sandwich. Both were very good. Go there when you're in Boerne.
