Dr Jacob Hodges was a joy to interact with. My 6 year old was incredibly nervous about his first visit. Dr Hodges detected the anxiety and quickly de-escalated his worries. With a balance of humor and rapport building, he was charmed by the end of the exam. Assuredly we will be returning for our annual exams. You have a customer for life!

I Had my eye exam about a week ago but i forgot to write my review. I've heard bad things from the banding location so i decided to go to the park ave location instead. The staff was that they had on that Thursday morning was very polite and professional. Dr. Jacobs was a real pleasure. He was professional in the way he acted and knowledge. There was a little issue with the printing of my prescription, but the staff was quick and swift to resolve the problem. I was kind of confused as to why there wasn't any relatively new reviews regarding this establishment. I'm assuming it's because people are

This is an update to my previous review. I received a personal call from the owner of this business and we had a long talk. He is clearly focused on trying to do the right thing, so despite my previous problems with his business, I am adjusting my review because I have confidence that he is going to truly improve his business and am also confident that if you have any problem with this business, you have recourse for correcting it through engagement with the owner. So despite my previous issues and negative recommendation, after talking to the owner, I do recommend giving this business a chance

I love the Orange Park Eye Center and every single person I have met that works here is so very Kind and Professional and gives all the attention you would hope for in a Doctors office setting . I had been going to this place for few years now. They always had good customer service but today my doctor, Dr. Bowman and Leslie provide me with excellent service. Leslie was very helpful with my new glasses, explaining to me small details that I did not know for the price that I paid. It was a very good experience and I am very happy with the service and looking forward to get my new glasses soon. 👍😊

Orange park eye center has always given my son the best eye care. I regrettably bought a pair of glasses from vision works a few months ago bc they had a sale going on, upon our eye exam appt with Orange park eye center today we were told that the bifocal lens in those glasses were put in backwards! this has caused my son so many headaches and eye pain. I'm furious with vision works but so thankful that opec fixed the problem free of charge today. I wish I could remember the woman's name. everyone there has been so helpful!

The Blanding office has to be full of incompetent employees. Nobody seems to know what’s going on my daughter was sent away today after I called them to give them all pertinent insurance info so there wouldn’t be a problem. So they wouldn’t see her due to supposedly not being insured. Our insurance company stated that they needed an itemized… receipt sent to them and they would omit payment. Instead of doing what was instructed they stated I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do for you you’re passed your window to be seen. All because they pussyfooted around
