Ballard Chiropractic Clinic was one of the initial spine care clinics in the Ballard area of Seattle.established in 1960. The clinic was located in the downtown Ballard area for over 2-decades when it relocated just north to the Crown Hill area in 1982 where it stands today.
It's original founder, Kenneth G. Sonderleiter, DC retired from practice in 1986 when Dr. Eric Wechselberger stepped in and continued his tradition of quality and caring service.Since that time, myself and associate healthcare providers have served the community with genuine passion, helping those in need reach optimum health.

Gisela graduated in 2015 after completing a 750 hour professional licensing program in massage therapy at Discovery Point School of Massage - Seattle, WA. She specializes in deep tissue, Swedish massage, myofascial release, prenatal, lymphatic, sports massage, hot stone and cupping. She has also completed instruction and is certified in infant massage.
We will bill your insurance for any covered services we provide. If you are interested in 90-minute sessions, please discuss this with your therapist on your next session. We will do our best to verify insurance coverage for billing on any health care product you choose.
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. Think of an adjustment as "tuning" a piano, adjusting each string so it produces the perfect tone.

Great place to go. They are an preferred provider with many insurance companies and they always look up if you're covered and explain what that means and how many you can get per year based on your plan. Once he's seen you for your initial, he accepts walk ins. You can also get massage. I didn't even know my insurance covered massage, so I am pretty stoked. Can book online for massage.

Fantastic! We have been looking for a great chiropractor since we moved here from out of state. Dr. Eric is wonderful - kind, caring, extremely knowledgeable, patient, thorough and professional. He examined me, my husband and our two young kids. He walked us through everything he did and why, patiently explained everything to our children as he adjusted them and alleviated my neck and back pain! Our visit really was just the best experience. I have never written a yelp review before, but Dr. Eric at Ballard Chiropractic clinic is the real deal.
I had never experienced such debilitating neck pain in my life. Thank God for Dr. Eric. It was a Saturday morning and the chiropractor I had been going to does not have weekend hours. I called 4 different chiropractic offices to be seen that day and none of them had space for new patients on a Saturday despite my desperate pleas. I was really beginning to lose hope. The pain was so tremendous, the next move would have had to have been the ER. Dr. Eric was my last phone number to call. When

Dr Eric is fantastic. Being new to chiropractic care it can be a bit intimidating. He helped me understand every step so I was comfortable during the entire process. He has a great sense of humor too! Faith is amazing. I never thought I would be able to live pain free until I started visiting her. She is very receptive and offers great advice for helping repair muscle issues. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for an excellent massage or an adjustment.

I have been visiting Dr. Eric for chiropractic services for several years now. He always has time for his patients and has gotten my back and neck filling tip top! After I was involved in back to back car accidents, he suggested I add massage to my routine. I began seeing Faith as my primary massage therapist and she has been nothing but a blessing! I was dealing with a lot of upper back issues and on going migraines. She has since soothed all my aches and reduced my migraines occurrences to virtually nothing. Fayth is an amazing massage therapist! I have had years of back pain after a car accident, after a few appointments I'm really seeing improvements!
Dr. W is an excellent chiropractor my family has been seeing him (as needed) for years! He's very knowledgeable and good at what he does- no one else comes close!

Dr. Eric took great care of me! I emailed the day before and saw him the next morning. In 20 minutes, he did a thorough assessment, explained everything he was doing clearly and treated both the kink in my neck (the reason for my visit) and a twist in my spine (I didn't realize I had this). Overall, I feel great now and very happy I decided to go. I'll be going back and sending friends their way.

Absolutely adore Joelle Sazama, LMP. I have scoliosis that was operated on so when I got pregnant my OBGYN recommended frequent prenatal massages to help combat back pain. I searched high and low for a LMP that was within network and luckily I found Joelle. She is really good at what she does, at the beginning of each session she always asks if there is an area to focus on, and she is super flexible with the schedule. At the beginning I went twice a month and now in my third trimester I go weekly and I must say she makes a huge difference.

Fantastic experience! I am impressed and I am such a cynic. Dr. Eric is great at explaining things and even better at fixing them.
After a week of pain, I am on my way!
Zero hardsell for anything. Just a genuine experienced doctor who knows his stuff.
In fact I don't even have to go back, I choose to.
Isn't it amazing what the body can do when it's appropriately managed by a skilled physician. Beats pills any day.

Dr. Eric is truly passionate about his work and a very enthusiastic individual. I feel these qualities truly advance a practitioner's capabilities.
I've seen many chiropractors over the years, and Dr. Eric does fine work. He also is a man of stature - able to make adjustments to even the largest skeletons, as he is tall and muscular. I'll be back often!

Dr Eric is FANTASTIC! I can usually get a same day appointment or show up as a drop-in. Also, his hours are compatible with my crazy work schedule. Normally it's very hard for me to see chiropractors as quite a few are closed between 1-3pm, which is usually the only time during the weekday that I'm not working. And he's open on Saturdays, hurray!
No high pressure sales (you need to spend the next year coming in twice a week to get your back fixed, type thing) and no pressure to invest in chiropractic equipment.
He gives a great adjustment & using the heating pad to loosen
