We also offer more traditional luncheon and dinner menus that can be delivered or picked up at our commissary in Pawtucket, RI. Services
Brothers Brian and Mickey Doherty began doing Clambakes for friends and neighbors on Boston's South Shore over thirty years ago. Their reputation for off the dock seafood, fresh local produce and attention to detail quickly spread until the demand convinced them to quit their day jobs. They expanded their menu to include pig roasts, luaus, barbecues and bar services and B&M Catering was born.
Feel free to mix and match to come up with ideas of your own, and we will be happy to put together a custom proposal. Typically, our crews arrive 3 hours before serve time, (6 hours for Pig Roasts) and serve (buffet style) for up to 3 hours. The food is cooked on site and our packages include disposable paper goods, condiments, covered/skirted buffet tables, trash cans and trash removal.
Some of the items in our Pick Up & Delivery section may be purchased by the meal and others as a la carte. Our menus range from good old fashioned home-cooked prepared meals to a la carte offerings of pans and platters. Food options may be picked up hot or cold at our kitchens in Pawtucket, RI, or delivered to your door within an hour's drive of our commissary.

B&M is a full-service New England catering company. We provide hot meals to numerous Head Start programs, child care centers, private schools and community action programs. We realize the importance of a quality school lunch plan and how difficult it can be to administer, when trying to provide a balanced meal at an affordable price.

I work at a day care in Rhode Island and we cater our students lunch from this catering company… the food that is served to the children from this catering company is absolutely inexcusable… the menu we get is usually wrong to some degree AND the food itself is in no way appropriate for the children that we serve. Don’t even get me started on the way the catering company GIVES us the food. It looks NOTHING like what the menu says it is… it’s usually mushed up as if it were out in a blender beforehand and just an absolute mess. This catering company needs to reevaluate the way it serves

We used B&M to cater our wedding in Wareham at the Box Mill Hall--alcohol, linens, set up, appetizers, and dessert! We wanted to have Brazilian food as the main meal--and they worked seemlessly with our Brazilian caterer. The appetizers and dessert were delicious. The staff was attentive, hard working and professional! And Tim made all the planning so easy and offered a fair price, even with the uniqueness of our situation! So grateful and would give 6 stars if I could!

5 stars for B&M! We used them to cater our son's first birthday party this past weekend. It was a small gathering and I loved that B&M offered "baby buffets" for smaller groups.
Ordering was a breeze and the B&M team was very responsive. On the day of our event, the catering delivery was right on time. The gentleman delivering, Dwayne, asked for a bit of direction for placement and then set up the entire buffet. He was professional, kind and fun to chat with while he set up.

We used B & M Catering for my daughter's wedding this past weekend at my home in Charlestown. The food was amazing! It was plentiful, but more importantly, my guests said that the food was delicious! From the beginning, Susan and her team worked to make the dinner special. I ordered the Ocean State Clambake, added some stuffies, clam cakes, and more. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Excellent overall experience. From planning the menu for our 50th Anniversary party (60 people) to the day of our event. Our servers were fantastic very helpful and pleasant they arrived about 30 minutes before the party and set up. They both were very helpful and cleaned up, packed up leftovers for us and removed all the trash and left us with practically nothing to clean up.
The food was great and such a large variety of things to choose from. I would highly recommend B&M for your next event.

From the very begging this entire team was exceptional. We did a custom stations menu and the food arrived hot, on time and was amazing. Tim and his team at B&M are awesome! We used them kind of last minute for our backyard wedding and they did a heck of a job. Even through all the different protocols and struggles with the pandemic, Tim was very responsive and supportive throughout the process of planning our backyard wedding. The quality of the food was superb! Nothing but compliments all night from our guests. The crew even packaged away ALL of the leftovers (and let me tell you there was A LOT of leftover food!) and they put it in our fridge, which to me is above and beyond. We aquired B&M Catering's service for our wedding last October and guests are still raving about it! Their food was absolutely delicious, staff was emmensely helpful and kind, and the price was right! We enjoyed passed horderves and a buffet-style surf & turf dinner with sides and salad for less than what it would cost just about anywhere else. They were also very responsive with my many questions and were patient with me as I planned my wedding from 2,500 miles away (we're in Montana). I am forever grateful for their professionalism and dedication.

WOW!!! Tried the personal clam boil and it was FANTASTIC! First it's packed in a RE-usable pot which I loved! The meal consisted of steamers, mussels, potatoes and chorizo along with sweet tender corn and a lobster!!! Huge winner! Add the tasty crunchy coleslaw and the moist corn bread and YOU my friends have a party!!!! Big winner. You will not be disappointed. And it's all done pickup style at their building. Love it.

I wish there were more stars, I would rate B&M higher! I hired B&M catering for my friends 40th birthday party and I could not have been happier with the food or the service. Stephanie was great to work with to plan the event. She assured me I would feel like a guest at my own party and she was 100% right! She did not try to upsell me at all, she actually took down the number of apps I ordered and we had the perfect amount. B & M Catered our backyard wedding and it was amazing! Food and service was fantastic, even guests kept telling me afterwards how great the food was! We did a custom menu of BBQ Steak Tips and Salmon which worked out perfectly. They even accommodated separate plates for allergies and vegan. Day-of service was also spot-on. Everything was on-time, delicious, and went so smoothly. Tim even came over to our table as soon as food was served to make us a plate of everything we wanted. Bride and Groom were top of mind all night and I cannot say enough great things about them. Highly recommend them

We chose B&M to cater our August wedding and were absolutely thrilled with the results! From the initial tasting to final cleanup, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. The selection of menu options is vast and flexible. The food is perfectly delicious and quantities generous.
Any leftovers are boxed up for you to take home. As we finished our photo shoot during the cocktail hour, we were amazed to see the B&M staff folding up chairs and taking down decorations from our ceremony site - completely unasked! We could not recommend them more highly for any occasion.

We had B & M cater our daughters wedding this past weekend. I was so pleased with the service, presentation and the food was spectacular. The appetizers were hot and delicious. The food was as good as the tasting that we attended at the beginning of the year.. it was also nice and hot and there was plenty!! Our family and friends loved the food and had a great time.. I got married this past Saturday and B&M catered the wedding. All everyone had to say every time I went over to a table was how fantastic the food was and I have to say I agree 100%! The staff was wonderful and everything was delicious. We did the stations menu and there was just so much food to choose from. Everyone was happy and there was an option for everyone. Tons of food was left over and they packed it all up and gave us the leftovers. I absolutely recommend B&M catering as they were very easy to work with and I was so satisfied with their service!

We loved having B&M cater our 90 guest wedding at the botanical gardens. Right from the start they were so responsive and really open to all my changes. I would say they are extremely flexible and accommodating. The food at the wedding was even more delicious than the tasting and we are eating the leftovers now! The servers they brought were so so helpful. I really appreciate everything they did for us and I would definitely work with them again. My husband keeps asking me if we can just go there and buy some of their steak tips "like a tray a week" he is saying lol ..thank you guys

I regret hiring B&M and don't recommend them, especially for anyone's wedding. They sent very few workers to set up furniture and cook for a 90 person event. This caused us to ask guests and extra workers from the venue to help setup for the ceremony and cocktail hour.
Because they sent out few workers, the cocktail hour food came out late. For the dinner buffet, it took a long time for the last table to be called to line up- I felt so bad for our hungry guests. To be fair, the food was good and our guests said they enjoyed it. In the end, I didn't get to take the leftovers

They catered my huge wedding in Newport RI and did over the top phenomenal job! I can't thank them enough! I had a few last minute glitches with cancellations and they handled it amazingly well and packaged the food wonderfully for me at the end of the night. I'm so happy to have their amazing food for the next month (I froze it!) I felt so bad that my guest cancelled and weren't able to enjoy their amazing food that night but they totally missed out because it was some of the best steak chicken potatoes and mussels I have ever enjoyed! When i set out looking for a caterer, I wanted to find someone who was willing to work with me on a menu, serve great food, and not be prohibitively expensive. We used B&M for a family reunion in Rhode Island and they were outstanding. Several months in advance I started getting prices on different menu options & as the RSVP's started rolling in I would consistently e-mail at least once a week to make changes & get new rates.

B&M catered our RI clambake wedding and they knocked it out of the park! As one of my city-dwelling bridesmaids said to me: "I expected to eat good food at your wedding, but that was some of the best wedding food I've had!"
