We had a bad experience with Sleeping Angels.
We really liked one nanny whom they introduced to us, and agreed to hire her. Unfortunately she canceled a few weeks before she was due to start. We asked for a refund on the Sleeping Angels' fee, but Melissa refused. There wasn't anyone else we wanted to hire, so we had lost both a month of preparation and several thousand dollars.
Melissa's explanations for why we couldn't have a refund didn't make sense — she kept saying it was impossible to refund the fee because they were "a legal company" (I don't understand what that means, and Melissa couldn
