Footsteps Child Care is a home daycare and preschool that focuses on the development of every child's cognitive, physical and emotional needs. We do this one step at a time and one day at a time, acknowledging that each day brings new curiosity and adventure to a young child's world. In striving to nurture this curiosity and enhance self-confidence, Footsteps provides a safe and explorative environment.

Services
At Footsteps, we incorporate the principles and core beliefs of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which states. Children collaborate with their peers in small groups on a daily basis and seek out knowledge through their own investigations, while having their thoughts and questions valued. Children are encouraged to use language to express feelings and thoughts, and to explore and investigate the world around them.
In the infant program we focus on sensory activities, communication and play. Children learn through music, dance, books, flashcards, toys, and their environment by exploring what is around them. Teachers also focus on helping children learn about their bodies and comfort children as feelings arise.
We are happy you are interested in joining our community! We host an open house each month for prospective parents. Please review the upcoming open house dates from the list below, and send us an email indicating the date you would like to attend. Tours must be scheduled in advance, and space is limited.

We are so happy with the care and learning experiences our 18month old son is getting from Footsteps Child Care. The founder & owner Kristin has created a wonderful, safe environment for these toddlers and preschool students. Her and the staff take Covid precautions very seriously and we especially love the app that they use to send updates & photos every day. We're looking forward to watching our little one grow and thrive in his little home away from home.

Couldn’t be happier with our experience at Footsteps Child Care. Kristin and her team have been very thorough and genuine from day 1. The attention to integration to her program really made the whole experience very smooth. Drop offs are easy!
They constantly keep the curriculum fresh with fun new ideas for the kids and it seems like our daughter is really benefiting from the school. We immediately noticed progress with social skills and communication. We will look forward to enrolling our 2nd!

The Best Child Care in Town! Highly recommended. Foodsteps Child Care is the best center that my kids have been to. When we moved from Northern California to west Los Angeles, we were looking for a warm, happy and safe place for our two young children. We toured many schools but did not like any of them except Footsteps Child Care! Kristin is kind, warm, knowledgable and both my children fell in love with her amazing personality and the school set up. We feel very lucky to find you, Footsteps Child Care!

Foosteps Child Care has been an absolute blessing! When relocating from the east coast, we were accustomed to having a nanny, but our nanny on the west left much to be desired. After MONTHS of constantly searching online, we finally ran across Footsteps. From first contact, our interaction with Kristin has been exceptional. It’s obvious that Kristin has formal training and education in the area of child care and child wellness. Her bubbly demeanor put our 16 month old right at ease from the very first meeting.
