We've built our practice around offering comfort, personal service, and of course, exceptional eye care. Dr. Badwan was born and raised right here in Raleigh, North Carolina. He graduated with honors from North Carolina State University with a degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Biological Sciences in 2003.
Dr. Keller Hopkins is from Fayetteville, North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill with a degree in Political Science in 2013. Under these difficult times applying staying home and social distancing, Dr. Badwan and his team did an amazing job of helping me take care of eye care needs.

My appointment was on time and efficient. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly. From checking in to the eye appointment to the eyeglass fitting, all costs and considerations were clearly explained. Would definitely recommend going here if you are looking for an eye doctor!
I especially appreciated being given the option to not do a test and being explained what it was for and how much it would cost because it wasn’t covered by insurance. I almost never get that level of transparency from medical appointments!

This is a wonderful practice. I’ve been with them since they first opened and customer service is one of their strengths. Dr. Badwan and Dr. Hopkins are the best eye doctors I’ve ever been to - they explain and educate, which is important to me. Even after moving away from Cary, I continue to make the drive back to this practice because it’s worth it.

This is one of the top overall businesses I have dealt with in a long time. Staff was amazing and were real people with great personalities. They truly cared about take care of my wife and myself and the technology they have is way beyond other optometrists I have seen. Five stars is not enough for this place!

Listen here people! Wake Family Eye Care rocks. I had an issue with a blocked gland and they saw me right away even though I wasn’t an established patient. I was treated and had to leave town but the Dr said call if I have any problem. They are very competent, extremely flexible and super nice. Highly recommended- and I don’t give complaints easily.

It is first time for me there. It was through a referral from another optometrist office. Omg: these people are so incredible. Every aspect: so very professional. From setting appointment, filling in the forms, check in, and the most important: taking measurements and finally the professional grand finale: every aspect is so caring team. Finally the dispenser was so courteous when I said I will go to a different place for glasses. Even at the time of setting the appointment they were ok to go to a different place for glasses. I very highly recommend going to this practice. Best wishes to this office
