We too just had our loan sold to another loan servicer after being told repeatedly that Caliber "takes pride" in servicing loans they originate. Their agents will contact you and feign disbelief and state that this isn't their normal practice. Don't let Caliber fool you, they are exactly like every other loan servicer. They will sell your loan in a heartbeat as, I've come to learn, the money is in the origination fees, not in the servicing of the loan. At the end of the day, we believed we were making a long lasting business relationship, but instead, we were lied to

After almost five years and one refinance with these people, never missing a payment. I received a letter from them telling me that they had sold my loan to another company. they waited till less then 10 days before the next payment is due to the OTHER company to tell me. Add to this the company they sold my loan to is listed as 1 and half stars! Way to go guys, way to take care of your customers. Shame on you! When I got my first loan, I was told by the broker that they would never sell my loan! Integrity is a big thing to me, this company threw that aside. I will not recommend them as their word
