Cedergreen Cellars
We love Kevin Cedergreen's wines, across the board. His whites in particular are a bright ray of sunshine with crispness and liveliness and a purity which has summer written all over them. He has now come out with a 'pet-nat' of Chenin Blanc, which is pretty much rocking our world. Crystal clean, unlike most pet-nats, it has explosive notes of fresh flowers, lime zest, passion fruit and just a bit of candied almonds.

Moderately fizzy, with crisp acids and a bright and clean finish. On the half shell or sizzling over a wood fire, an icy cold glass of our Sauvignon Blanc or Chenin Blanc in one hand, an oyster in the other!

Childhood spent on an Eastern Washington orchard taught me the rhythm of nature and the good things that come from it. Picking and eating truly ripe fresh fruit didn't become extraordinary until I realized how rare that experience was. Harvest was hard work and a crazy good time. Cold, crisp fruit with bright flavors overflowing crates and boxes.
We are sharing some of our favorite recipes - great for pairing with Cedergreen Cellars wine! We love flavorful recipes that that are delicious, quick, and easy enough to be made on a busy weeknight. A pound of shrimp in the shells, some olive oil, salt and pepper, and a couple of wooden skewers and you're off to the races.
Living among the vineyards gives me the contact with the vines and grapes that is essential to my vision. Working with the best growers, constantly walking my rows, tending clusters, leaf stripping, giving the hours to my fruit that is so vital to the wine.

This immaculate attention combined with the selection of cool weather sites and varieties that excite my palate makes for wine that balances the unctuous with bright flavors, dark fruit and spice.Enjoy these wines with dinner and the day. A secret subterranean cuvee made from sparkling Chenin Blanc with more minerality than Tourraine tuffeau.
Kevin Cedergreen dialed in his Gamay Noir program virtually immediately, starting with the 2015 vintage and pulling from Skyline Vineyard, a planting at more than 1,100 feet elevation in the Columbia Basin. Tank-fermented and allowed to age 18 months in a puncheon, this is an elegant, light-bodied wine with a lot of personality.

This tasting room is a lovely find amidst the artisan hill wine tasting rooms in Woodinville.
It looks small outside but has a great clean space inside, with lots of room to spread out, and there is a heater outside for those wanting to brave the elements!
I didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate me. The staff were all tremendously friendly and I learned a lot about their collection of wines. I did a tasting ($15), and really enjoyed both the white and red options (the whites were definitely great), and best of all, they had 2010 and 2011 red wines which is rare for

These guys are great! This is one of those places where you want to scream from the rooftops about how awesome they are but you also want to keep them to yourself.
They make great wine and they are great to talk to on top of that. So definitely check them out. Also if you get a chance do one of the pairing where they pair their wine with some really good food (Ray's Boathouse).

Not sure who the owner is. This wineries customer service is poor. Don’t buy the woodinville wine pass unless you want to be verbally abused. It’s sad how they make you feel when using this pass. They are aholes and even had customers approach us asking if the guy really said what he did. This place is a joke.

Staff NOT GREAT
We went for a tasting, the lady who was pouring our wine was confusing in the way she poured for us, not labeling anything but handing us 6 little cups at a time and then realizing she was telling us about different wines, yet before realizing she was making a mistake she said to us….”do you have a driver?!”. She was not friendly, or polite. I don’t recommend. The wine was sub par.

Had another fun visit to Cedergreen Cellars yesterday. Tried their wine club selections paired with wonderful cheeses, a Riesling we tasted with hot peppers and a chocolate cookie and the best for me, a 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cab being my favorite varietal the opportunity to taste one at the proper age is very rare. Not only great wines but Kevin and Julie are wonderful hosts. No better way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny Sunday!

There should be a 6 star review for a superstar wine cellar based in the heart of Woodinville. Kevin and Julie both are masters at their craft. You can taste the artistry, and the history behind each bottle. From producing exceptional wine to sharing their story with each customer. We really felt at ease everytime we visit them and also amazed by their new creation. From their famous Rose to their insanly delicious reds, there is no bottle better than the other. So, come on down and say hi to the Cedargreens and be amazed.

Not bad, but far from my favorite. My friend and I visited Cedergreen Cellars as part of our wine tasting day; and unfortunately, the wines just didn't have me wanting more.

Cedergreen Cellars is located in a small business strip in the north end of Woodinville. Parking is plentiful with many spots out front. I made a reservation a few days beforehand, which you can easily do on the website. They had indoor and outdoor seating.

We tried four different wines: a sauv blanc, a cab sauv, a cab franc and a chenin blanc frizzante. Of all the wines, I have to say the chenin blanc frizzante

Just attended a private food and wine tasting event held by Jus Bar in Columbia City and CederGreen. I must say it was a phenomenal event for the tastebuds. Wine was deliciously paired with the 5 course dinner menu and my fiancé and I left with a bottle of the Sauvignon Blanc. Bravo Cedergreen, you've made me a fan!

I am always excited to try a Washington winery, so when we found that Cedergreens Cellars was offering a wine-tasting at Swirl Wine Bar, we had to check it out. I have been passing on whites lately, but their Sauvignon Blanc was one of my favorites. There was a slight sweetness on the tongue with a very refreshing finish. The Chenin Blanc was drier, which was exactly what my BF wanted, and he was a big fan of this one. I feel that both whites were quite good, and would love to try them at a colder temperature. We also tried the red blend called Thuja, a Merlot/Cab Sauv and a great complement
