Drove 1000 miles for my winter vacation and all my reservations for the coming week have been canceled due to rain. This establishment change my bad mood to delighted.

We loved the food, the atmosphere and the kind staff. Carmel is beautiful and this is a great place to try. I recommend the seafood and the IPA bottled beer👍.

Food was delicious, steak filet very tender and was cooked perfectly.
Salads fresh and crisp.
Wine recommended, Highlands Pinot was very nice. Would recommend.

We ate here Thursday night, I got the prime rib and my wife got a fillet. The best thing on my plate was the potatoes, the prime rib tasted like something you would get off a cheap buffet. The other sides were not edible. My wife’s steak was ok nothing special, she did have to scrape all the sauce off it was just not good. We really had high hopes for this place we had been choosing some really good places to eat since visiting California but this was not one of them.

Amazingly friendly service here. My idiot friend is too pretentious to eat a salad from Dominos so we stopped here just before close to grab a salad to-go. Not only were they friendly, they tried to invite us in to sit down and have a meal 4 minutes before closing time. Anyone who’s worked in restaurants knows that’s next level service. And admittedly his salad was also better than my dominos salad.

Some of the best service I’ve ever received. My idiot friend and I napped too long and it was too late for most places to be open. walked in at 9:05 (closes at 9) the server/manager greeted us with the most warm welcome. I asked for a wedge salad (wanting something light after a day of binge drinking and junk food) to go and he went above and beyond with the speed and kindness. Got the salad home and was in heaven with the blue cheesy goodness. It was delicious. This place has my vote even not having dined in yet. Will definitely be back. Thanks!!!

I was going to give one star but after leaving and going to get another cocktail at another restaurant a block away I gave it two stars. Horrible experience for a B day...I never leave bad reviews....Came in with high expectations and ended up with low results. Our first server let our Caprese sit in the window for 20 minutes.. I asked my fiance if she felt bad for the food sitting in the window after 15 minutes then five minutes later it came to us. I watched my lamb sit in the window for for 15 minutes and then when I watched it come to me I was flabbergasted. Completely dry, over cooked and

Ate lunch here today. The service was super nice and friendly. The foods were in very big quantities. The garlic French fries were extremely tasty. The burger was bigger than my daughter’s face, I think it can feeds two kids. See the wine glass size, oh~~
