I can't speak to their optometrists, as I'm established with a different optometrist at a different office but I will say THIS is the spot I plan to go to to shop for new glasses. Wendy (optician) is an absolute pleasure to work with and her eye (lol) for tasteful and unique pieces is unmatched! I say this coming from a place of visiting 3-4 optometrist offices solely to find a pair of frames I like lol. This office definitely has a great selection and range of options to choose from!

My family and I have been visiting this clinic for over 20 yrs (used to be Benson Eye clinic). The doctors are great but their recent front desk staff are horrible at their Jobs! I called last week to make an appointment. They told me to wait and after 10mins hung up the phone. I tried calling them multiple times and they would not answer. I even left several voice mails asking them to call back but still no response. My wife tried calling today and no answer. She left a voicemail and still no response. They need to fix their front desk staffing issues ASAP or I will go to a different clinic.

I haven't been to the clinic since they were at their old location. In fact, 2014 was the last time I visited the eye doctor. Today--my first day of being considered fully vaccinated--seems like the right time to remedy that.
And so glad I did. Bigger place, full of friendly and professional people. And here I am, working on the computer WITH CONTACTS like I haven't been able to do for a few years. Feeling refreshed and happy.

I had a great experience with Dr. Huynh and the process went very smoothly. She explained lots of things! I had a few complications with the website not taking my appointment but that could've been a user error. It was easy enough to call and schedule an appointment on the spot. It was quite busy in the office that day but the facility too measures to social distance and wear masks, etc. The glasses selection had a lot of premium and name brand glasses and some affordable ones as well. In the end, I was happy with everything so far and would recommend the doctor. I look forward to my new eye

Dr C is the best eye doctor I've found in probably 5 years and 4 doctors! I have a difficult contact script and he spent extra time with me, gave me two different trial sets to try and after trying set number two at home the next day I realized he nailed it. 5 years of not quite right and he nailed it in one appointment!

Great experience. Would recommend to others. Fantastic service and very nice attentive staff. Frames a bit more expensive than they should but inline with other private eye clinics. Not a huge selection but hey. West's most important s the exam. Good experience. Recommended my wife. Very prompt and personable. Bought aviators.

I understand the pandemic delay and miscommunication happens sometimes. The wrong order was more than miscommunication, the left contact lenses ordered was wrong prescription and wrong brand (asphere instead of toric) which was not any of the brand I have been prescribed or used as trials to try in the last 3 years I have gone to this clinic.
Thank goodness, I kept the empty sample trial boxes to ensure that prescription is filled correctly. I pay almost $600 for these contact lenses with vision insurance due to my poor vision, so I want to make sure they are ordered correctly to help my vision

Dr. Hofeldt was professional and personable, and I had a pleasant experience with the eye exams. Where it was very disappointing was the craftsmanship of the eyeglasses. I came in with my own frame for lens replacement. It was a slim profile frame and my previous lenses were cut expertly to fit the slender profile (done by someone else). When I finally got my new lenses in the frame, I was more than disappointed. I had high index lenses as I required high power. However it seemed as if I didn't. The lenses stuck out past the frame, and looked unsightly from the profile. I would have not gone

My family has been coming here for close to 6 years from the time they are still in the old clinic. Dr H and Dr Thoreby are friendly and knowledgeable but they need to be diligent in hiring good people. Last week I called for my contact lens prescription to be emailed and even before the woman who answered my call check on my account, she said that she can't email my prescription for various reasons.Then i told her that I've had them done that before, she reluctantly checked my account. When she learned my prescription is expired, she said a mouthful of why I can't get any prescription

Well, I've been coming here for 5 years now and I must say I'm still a raving fan! Wonderful service and knowledgeable friendly staff. I also like the fact they have state of the art modern equipment for testing your eye sight.
I also appreciate the fact I never feel rushed. The Dr's are thorough and patient. I highly recommend Kent Eye Clinic!

**UPDATE** I forgot to talk about the scammy forms that they have. You'll get charged the $39 for an exam that's probably not real since it's not covered by insurance. This place really is fake and is only there to sell you glasses. The last time I went before this review, they told me I really needed to take the test bc my retinas were weak. Where's all the BS now, unless *gasp* they didn't really look at my eyes or lied to me the first time. It's really laughable how they call themselves a clinic. Watch out for these people.

This place is a scam , and absurd to hear clinic charge 750 dollars for eye check up for second visit . All my LASIK surgeon ask to prescribe me for eye drops , this what they told me we only going to prescribe you if i am going pay 750dollars It's a joke doctors in Bellevue charge 150 and prescribe me for med , i want to know how this doctor pass the high school leave alone the degree . Wow me . Please pick honest people to even get your eye check up.

Won't be back. The optician Janelle once again was pushy for me to pay for stuff I didn't want on my glasses! Like the anti reflective coating. and she still can't seem to get my daughters glasses tighter. We purchased them there and they're still too loose after 2 adjustments and she replied she can't get them any tighter. ? Love both doctors and the Techs are so great and fun and helpful especially Lauren. We've referred a ton of family and friends there for years now, but the final touch of glasses should be the best part and it's gone downhill. Even my 10

The nose pads off my glasses broke off and instead of going all the way to my original eye clinic in Federal Way, I stopped by this local one to see if they could help fix them for me. Within minutes of checking in (walked in, no appointment made), the optometrist had them ready like brand new (for free!) and even made sure they fitted my face properly. Both the receptionist and doctors were super friendly and helpful.

I took my older daughter to this clinic for eye exam last year and it was a pleasant experience. So I decided to have her keep seeing Dr. Kurt Hofeldt this year, and also take my younger daughter and my mom to see Dr. Sean Thoreby as Dr. Hofeldt is not accepting new patient anymore.

So I just received a 'past due' bill from them. Guess what, it's the only bill I have ever received from them. Their accounting office needs a lot of attention.
I am not recommending them, the clinic at this time. My contacts are okay, but I still can't pass the vision test for my drivers license. Kind of leaves me hanging.
