A psychological evaluation is an assessment of a person's behavior, personality, emotional functioning, and cognitive functioning. It is a great starting point in mental health treatment, as it can aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. These tests help psychologists determine the nature and severity of a person's struggles, while giving insights into treatment options.

Horrible scheduling issues with this facility. They will take your information to put you on a "wait list" but have "NO IDEA" how long that wait list is. And apparently the wait is LONGER for lower income people that use state insurance. According to the lady who answered the phone there are over 100 people waiting to get into this facility. Would NEVER recommend anyone going here.
UPDATE: A woman just called me on the phone very aggressively and rudely to tell me why its OKAY to have a waitlist of over 100 people and not be upfront about it. Because, they will "eventually" call you to tell you

A year later and no progress seen with my 7 year old. Results from an assessment that was supposed to be sent within 6 weeks still has not been sent 3 months and several phone calls and emails later. And I only kept calling because I never received a reply to any of my emails!
Of course they've already charged us for the assessment so what do they care if it's actually sent or not!
I deeply regret choosing and trusting Discovery Counseling with my son's care

This is my first experience with therapy, but after losing a sister, my husband, and my brother in a little over three months time and the encouragement of my best friend and my daughter-in-law to seek professional help, I found out about Discovery Counseling from my daughter's friend who works there. She recommended Dr. Grant for grief therapy. I am so thankful for Dr. Grant, as well as all of the other staff members. Everyone is extremely kind, friendly, and compassionate. Best of all, (to me) is that I know that I am getting better. They do their very best to accomadate.

I've struggled with depression for most of my life, and have seen several therapists over that time. I have made more progress with Julie Evans in the past two years than all of the other counselors I've seen combined. She truly cares about her clients and wants them to succeed, and goes above and beyond to work with your schedule. I am so grateful to her and this practice. Thanks for helping me take my life back!
