The Counseling Center of the North Shore is a private, nonprofit mental health center in Winnetka. Our therapists are experienced and licensed mental health professionals. Every therapist has post-graduate training and additional specialized training in a variety of therapeutic modalities. CCNS is an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Optum/UnitedHealthcare, Cigna PPO, and Aetna.
We also accept Medicare. For self-pay clients, fees are based on a sliding scale determined by household income and the number of dependent family members. Our clinical staff members are experienced and licensed mental health professionals with post-graduate training and additional specialized training in a variety of disciplines. CCNS is an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna PPO, Optum/UnitedHealthcare and Medicare.
The Counseling Center of the North Shore is seeking an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT or PsyD with experience and an interest in working with individuals, couples and families. The therapist will report to the CCNS Clinical Director and will be a member of the CCNS clinical team. Candidates should have a desire to be part of a community of clinicians committed to continued growth and learning.
Counseling Center of the North Shore offers community programs that promote awareness, collaboration and health. We offer a wide variety of workshops, parent consultation, staff development training and consultation to schools, organizations and groups. Topics can be tailored to specific needs. The Counseling Center of the North Shore is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that enriches lives by providing quality counseling and therapy to everyone in the community, regardless of their financial situation. Over half of our clients utilize our income-based sliding fee scale, and last year we underwrote more than $280,000 in client fees.
