QUINCY COTTAGE Renter beware! Very dirty and roach-infested! We had a roach crawl across our bed at night and every night they came out, crawling across walls upstairs and downstairs. No hot water in kitchen, doors malfunctioning, broken doorknobs, brown stains on chairs, lots of dog hair on bunks, and rusted old bikes. This is not a true 4 bedroom. The bunk room is only about a foot wider than the bed is. It’s a shame because it is such a beautiful and unique property in a great location.

Absolute disappointment from the moment we arrived at our rental. The access code to enter the front door didn’t work but we did get in through the back door. Inside, wifi wasn’t working, tv (roku) dependent on wifi was also not working, insufficient kitchen supplies, broken ice maker and all appliances dated or in various states of disrepair. To top it off owner/agency belongings seemed like they were tossed in a closet in a hurry and we encountered a few very large roaches. Several attempts to make contact with Sandpiper office by email, text and phone were unsuccessful. Finally decided to

We used Sandpiper last year to book a vacation rental. The staff was great! They sent us multiple places to stay, recommendations and were very accommodating. We found them to be very pleasant to work with and very responsive.
We used them again this year. We tried to stay in the same place as last year, but it was already booked. Again, they went beyond our expectations finding the right rental for our family. We know they are super busy, but you wouldn’t know it from their responsiveness. Highly recommend!

I had a girl's trip and stayed in one of Sandpiper's homes and it was nothing short of amazing. The house was clean and kept extremely well. The only issue we had was that the ice maker went out during our stay, but we called the management and they had someone there to fix it the same day. They even brought us bags of ice in the meantime while it was down! I would book again for any beach trip in the future.

This property is in a great location but the management is lacking. There were a lot of small but annoying things that we kept running into. The kitchen has a coffee machine but there were no filter papers. There was one trash bag in the can and then we were on our own. No salt and pepper in the kitchen. It’s honestly fine that these things were not included but they should have let us know in advance so we could plan accordingly. Two bikes were supposed to be included in the rental but the code provided for the bike lock didn’t work. The keypad lock on the actual front door of the property

We booked this last minute for a two night stay after staying in Panama City Beach for the past 10 days. We were excited to find a place with a great location to the heart of Seaside Beach.
We never received our information that we could check in. Check in was at 4:00 so we arrived around 4:30 and we were able to get in, however, when we arrived it looked like maybe they were in the middle of cleaning because there was a big bag of dirty linens in the living room floor. There was pine sol out in the kitchen and the floor had not been vacuumed and was really dirty. We decided to not carry our stuff

We were recently in Santa Rosa beach over Thanksgiving. We enjoyed our time so much we decided to come back over spring break. Over the holiday weekend, I rented a condo for March of 2021 through VRBO, managed by Sandpiper. There was a "100% refund if cancelled before January 12, 2021".
Less than 48 hours after making the reservation, our plans changed and I sent a message to Sandpiper requesting a cancellation for the upcoming spring break rental. Several days later, I received an email that they are "withholding $100" of my refund.
I am appalled.
I will make sure to not use Sandpiper going

We have rented through Sandpiper for several years and have always had great service. This year was no exception and Casey went above and beyond! Our son’s bike was stolen while in Seaside and we called the rental office to let them know and give a description. No sight of it while there so unfortunately we had to leave without it and thought it… was gone for good. Fast forward 6 weeks... The Sandpiper team found a bike at one of their rentals, Casey remembered we had lost a bike that matched the description, she texted me and it was ours! She made arrangements to take it on her own

My husband and I had rented a pet friendly home in Seaside last winter. The day before we were to leave, my husband noticed that I had accidentally rented for 2019! Silly me. I called Sandpiper. The young woman I talked with was very helpful. She found another place for us to rent, not easy since we needed pet friendly. So appreciate their help with my error. We're looking to rent through them again.

To be honest this is the first poor review I’ve ever had to write. This was the most unaccommodating management company I’ve ever dealt with. After spending 4 hours in a car with 3 other grown adults Sandpiper called to let us know our house we rented could not be occupied because of a FLEE INFESTATION. Instead of finding us a house which was equal… or better they proceeded to send lesser quality homes saying “they would have no problem transferring us”. We did not want any of the homes selected for various reasons and they were unwilling to book us a comparable cottage
