I am still happily running the rehabbed Vostro tower I bought from them 5 years ago for $200. It was a pleasure to buy locally and was a deal at the time.
I came in for a diagnostic in 2021. It was having trouble booting up. They brilliantly diagnosed it as my own faulty wall plug. Problem solved at no cost to me.
I recently tried to buy a laptop there. Unfortunately, the space was so cramped and the lighting so harsh, that I could not really test it out properly. Upon discovering how poor and dated the picture quality was, I promptly returned it. With no good alternatives on the shelf

Best place in town to do any computer repairs. My macbook pro broke and I took it to the apple store and an authorized dealer where they told me reapirs would be at least $900 and recommended just getting a new computer. I decided to come in here and get a second opinion and I'm very glad I did as they were able to fix my computer for just $400. Not only that, the first replacement part remachines ordered was faulty so they had to order a new one and went over the estimated repair time so they gave me a discount when I came to pick my computer up. All in all I am very happy with my experience here

My Dell XPS 15 laptop had gone through multiple rounds of repair (in another country) without much success in pinpointing the source of the problem. As a last ditch effort, I took a chance with Remachines and it panned out.
The personnel at 464 N Sherman Ave store inspected under the hood and adviced me to order a new power jack as the current one was damaged. Also gave me the option to repair it myself so that it doesn't cost me extra, by instructing me on how to do the part replacement myself.

I love this place. This is where I go to get my technology first. I'd way rather spend my money at Remachines than on Amazon, because Remachines always has really good deals on equipment and plenty of it.
The quality is top-notch on their gear. I bought a gaming computer that happened to be there for a really, really good price, completely upgrading my experience. I love it. 10/10 for value and quality. The only times that I've ever had problems with gear I bought from there, they've exchanged or fixed it right there on the spot.

Remachines is awesome! I needed the speakers replaced on my Macbook Pro and called in the morning. I was able to take it in right away and Bao fixed my laptop in no time! Everyone was so friendly and I'm so happy to have my laptop in tip top shape again. The prices are so reasonable as well! I highly recommend Remachines!!

Remachines made a custom build computer specifically to meet our business needs. Boa was absolutely awesome to work with from start to finish - excellent and timely communication from asking about our needs at the beginning to keeping us informed throughout. The computer does everything we need it to, and so much faster than our old computer. So glad we found Remachines and made the decision to do business there.

They are awesome. They recovered my data and would were super polite and responsive. I had an ancient NAS drive that died. Of course I didn't have a recent backup. One place told me that they would only take it if I brought in the hard drive separately. So I try to get it out, but I am left with a total mess. I bring the whole thing in a box, the screws I managed to remove in a baggy. To their immense credit the woman who took my drive did not laugh me out of there. I was emotionally prepared that nothing would be recoverable. She said it might take a few days because she was the only one

I found Remachines when looking online for a place to recycle VHS tapes. Nate replied quickly to my inquiry (on a Sunday no less!). I went and for a nominal fee got them all recycled. I also made a purchase thanks to Boa, the amazing, efficient employee who was working that day. I will definitely be back!!

Once, I took my laptop to be fixed in another shop. I was in a rush and it was right across the street. Big mistake.
Remachines is the only place in town where I don't have to worry about the quality of service. They are diligent, knowledgable and operate with utmost integrity.
It is the the best place to go when your machine needs some love.

I had so much stuff to recycle and emailed Remachines to see if they would take it. Not only did they take it all, they picked it all up at no charge! This stuff was very heavy. We're talking large floor speakers, DVD player, stereo receiver, turntable, monitor, printer, the works. The speakers were almost as tall as the very nice young woman who did the pick up. Fast response to my original email, fast scheduled pick up. Best customer service I have received in a very long time.

I took my friend who had experienced computer stores in other places before (outside Madison), where you could just tell them what you wanted, and they would just make it happen.
Remachines is like that. They give honest answers to questions. We had trouble with a competing used computer stores where they just tried to sell you what they had, and the computers at the time didn't have wireless cards at that particular vendor.
Nate laughed at the question, "do these laptops have wireless?" "what good would they do without wireless

My computer has been running hot, so I e-mailed them Sunday evening to see if they offered cleaning services. Nate was back in touch with me within an hour to confirm that they could, and for a very reasonable price ($10). I was able to make an appointment right away.

Fast forward two days... the computer is now not even booting up.
Black death screen.
No little fan whirling.
Nada.
At this point, it was time to pry the dead lil' computer out of the Mister's grip and trek downtown to Remachines.
The friendly folks there got me squared away in no time, just a matter of days. Prices were affordable and I was offered options with varying prices (do I want my computer back with a new hard drive? or do I want my data transferred to another computer?, etc.) Yes! I want it all!!!

My first interaction with Remachines was for business. We have two desktop computers used as cash registers, both from Remachines. When one encountered a problem, I called the Remachines office, walked the computer over to them, and they fixed it on the spot - no charge. For comparison, I have a friend who had the exact same problem with a new computer from Best Buy, and it took WEEKS to get her machine fixed. When the craptastic Dell Studio laptop I've been using inevitably broke down, I was in the market for a computer repair guy / gal. I somehow managed to destroy the charge port on my laptop. I brought it somewhere else first and the guy worked on it a few weeks and couldn't fix it, so he referred me to Remachines. I brought it here and Nate was able to fix it in a timely matter and at a reasonable price. He is super friendly and always updated me on the status of my repair. Hopefully my computer won't be breaking again in the near future, but if it does, I will definitely be coming back here!
