CTRL+shift is your friendly neighborhood computer specialist ready to fix your laptop, clean out a virus, set up your network, or just discuss your options. Our goal is to make your life easier by providing extremely personalized solutions to all your computer issues. You can count on us! Ok, ok, it's more than just a key combination.
CTRL+shift is an idea we came up with after many years in the computer business, observing the growing "you don't need to know" attitude of manufacturers, vendors, service providers, and other technicians. They spread the myth that technology is too complicated for consumers to understand, that we shouldn't worry about how it works, and we should simply trust that they have our best interests at heart.

CTRL+shift employs specialists in a wide range of fields: programming, software and hardware support, design, instruction, and more. We deal extensively in Windows, Macintosh, and Linux platforms and favor open-source solutions that can adapted to work in a variety of environments. We don't try to sell you services or equipment you don't need, and we don't charge excessive fees for simple fixes.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
A corrupt registry was causing my browser to keep crashing. Miles responded to our request for service quickly, had the problem diagnosed and fixed within a business day (over the weekend) and my computer is back and operating smoothly. I was not overcharged and greatly value the quick effective problem solving.

Holy crap, the best! I was in town on business from Los Angeles when my computer just stopped working. Desperate we found Miles on yelp and he was in the hotel a couple of hours later working away. The issue was super complicated, but he had it figured out quickly and cleaned up a bunch of other issues for me as well while he was here. I WAS SO THANKFUL. Swoon! Call Miles.

We were really happy with our tune-up service and fixing of our computer problems. Miles came to our home and helped us fix issues that we didn't realize had been caused by a virus. He spent three hours working through all the fixes and never seemed rushed, despite the extra time he spent with us. We were very happy with the service provided and plan to recommend him to our friends.

I cannot express enough how nice it is to find professionalism, courtesy and efficiency in local business, and CTRL+shift fulfills all of those qualities. I brought in my laptop with problems resulting from physical damage, and the nature of repairs needed was determined with certainty right away, and the laptop was quickly made whole once again. An excellent small business that offers services second to none, I gladly recommend CTRL+shift to everyone.

Good computer techs are like good car mechanics: you find one, you hold onto them. I went to UW's do-IT for a repair, and they wanted $70 for a simple fix that Ctrl-Shift did for less than half the price. Ctrl-Shift identified a bigger problem I had, and explained to me how to fix it myself if I didn't want to pay them to do it. They know far more than techs at larger operations and provide much more responsive customer service. I can't recommend them highly enough!
