This is a small yet simple yard that is quick to get in and out of. If you go here and feel it doesnt pay enough your correct. But dont hold it against the folks working here. The problem is that the same greedy "businessman" bought out all the scrap yards in the city of lubbock and therefore can pay you 5% of what hes gonna get paid. If you call any yard in lubbock the prices are all the same. But if you call south like say dallas they are paying 75% or more than every yard owned by this real life Monopoly clown. If you want more money you are better off saving up a large trailer load over a few

No see here's what happened. Your guy behind the counter enter my 28lbs of copper into the payout spot and thought I wouldn't notice I have the check right here. I brought in 2 five gal buckets. 1 of #1 and 1 of #2. The guy behind the counter made a "clerical error" and he knows it. Who would bother separating $0.28 of "refinery copper" from $20 of #2? Listen just pay me for the 28lbs of #1 and I can go on my way minus the $$.28 of course.

It may be true that they don’t pay as much as Jarvis, but they also don’t destroy your pickup bed using a tractor Trying to unload your materials. I would rather support this business than some of the other guys. One thing I really like about this place is that you can also buy scrap materials from them at a reasonable price. They have always been friendly and that matters more to me than the weight they pay per pound.

All the local branches are owned by Jarvis! The main branch (south of town) pays far more for some reason. Fool me once-shame on you. The sign says top prices paid, website too... sorry not true. I got paid significantly less per pound at A1. OUCH!!! I will be heading to the main branch from now on.
