It is hard to explain how incredibly rewarding it is to transform a person's bite into a stunning, healthy smile. I get such a great sense of satisfaction watching a patient transform into a self-confident, proud individual. For my orthodontic education, I first attended Western Michigan University, where I attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Orthodontics has given me the opportunity to meet great people and help provide healthy and beautiful smiles for my community for over 35 years. Having grown up in Walkerville, I was a Walkerville High School 1956 graduate before I went on to Western Michigan University Pre-Dental School, where I attained my DDS in 1963.
Serving the people in our community for their dental needs has been a pleasure and a very rewarding experience for over 25 years. I believe in being honest and truthful with everyone to establish a respectful attitude from patients, staff, other dental professionals and people in the community. Every child or adult who visits our office for treatment has their own personality that makes each and every day different and a joy to be serving them.
As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator two days a week in the Greenville office, I help our doctor with orthodontic procedures and work with our patients on patient education. I love knowing that I am making a difference in someone's life. One of the greatest gifts I was given as a child was orthodontics.
At Herremans Orthodontics, we use modern appliances and techniques that produce the greatest smiles with the most comfort. Dr. Thomas Herremans treats patients like part of his family. Our doctor and staff will talk with and get to know each patient as a valued individual. My mom went to Dr. Herremans father and my daughter and I went to Dr. Herremans. This team of professionals make you feel like family. They are professionals without being stuffy. The office is clean and comfortable. Everyone greets you with kind smiles. They are a wonderful business to have in the community. We have perfect smiles because of this fine group and couldn't be more grateful. Thank you all for your hard work. Scarlett looks more beautiful than she already was.

My daughter has an appliance to bring a tooth up to it’s proper location. We’re in Greenville and Dr Herremans had one of his clinicians stop on her way home to see my daughter for a consult. And not only my daughter, but one before us and there was someone to see her after us. Thanks Laurie for working a full day and still setting our mind to ease. This office is amazing!!!! So accommodating and friendly! Never felt like an inconvenience !!! Highly recommended !!!

I went in for a second round of braces in my lifetime because my teeth have begun to shift in my 40’s. I was recommended for Invisalign and was told a 3 month treatment should be sufficient to make the correction. It’s been over a year, and my teeth are still not straight, even while following the doctors orders religiously. I informed the doctor at my last appointment my bite was off and I was not able to chew greens properly. I was told they would adjust to normal once I switched to wearing them to only night time in 2 weeks. Here it is 2 months later and I still can’t break down my food

I told "Doctor" Herreman that I was having jaw problems and he sent me home without even setting up a follow up appointment. Now I need surgery because he did nothing to help me. I recommend finding ANY other orthodontist. This one doesn't care about you, and he sure as hell won't help you. If I could give him zero stars, I would.
