Orthodontists are dental specialists who diagnose and treat problems with the position, alignment or spacing of the teeth, and related irregularities in the face and the jaw. We use a number of special treatments, including braces and other oral appliances, to correct these problems. There are two good reasons: aesthetics and function.
When a person's teeth or jaws do not fit together properly, orthodontic treatment may be necessary to correct the problem. If left untreated, these orthodontic problems, often referred to as malocclusions, can cause speech difficulty, premature wear of the teeth and protective enamel, and even increase the chance of injury to the teeth and jaw joints.

Wonderful staff all around. My son started care at 8 and finishing up now at age 17. Dr Monticello is an excellent communicator on what the problems are and how to best fix the jaw and teeth to allow proper growth. The last visit was amazing to recap where we started and final results. I highly recommend this office and their entire staff. Thank you!

I cannot say enough about GRO. The staff is so welcoming and helped ease any nerves my daughter had about getting braces. The office is super clean, wonderful natural lighting, and the atmosphere is welcome and friendly. They walk you through every step and make all treatments clear and understandable. My children have absolutely NO fear of going to the Orthodontist (or dentist) ANYMORE because of Dr. John Monticello. He's a comfortable man to be around, and a genuinely down-to-earth, funny guy. You see, I also got my braces from Dr. Monticello. So when I realized my children needed braces as well, I pulled out the yellow pages and started searching. Luckily I found him quick.
