Trustworthy, Reliable, and transparency are among the merits that comes to my mind when rating Robin Compton & Associates. We gave our property to Robin and Ashley 2 years ago. It was the best decision we made when we moved abroad. Our property have been flawlessly managed by Robin and Ashley since. Had my property listed for rent with Robin Compton & Associates. So far so good! I have been working with Ashley and she has been fantastic. She found tenants for my home rather fast! Excellent communication. She has been a great asset to diffuse the stressors that come along with moving and renting a home. She helped me out with cleaners, copies of keys and touch up paint. All of the minor details that can be a headache for a homeowner while trying to move. Thanks for all the hard work!

Unfortunately I had to change my initial rating. Three stars is probably generous. The first issue was timely payments which could be overlooked because eventually we would be paid. Despite having a property management, you’ll need to pay close attention to the accounting. HOA fees had piled up and we had to spend a lot of time determining why we weren’t paid several hundred dollars. This was complicated by the fact that we were living overseas and having to contact the PM and the HOA to obtain transaction histories etc.
If at all possible, be present for move-in and move-out inspections.

We had the worst experience with Ashley. They handled our rental property while we lived out of state. We would receive our payments sporadically. We would receive our payments with money deducted without being told what was deducted. We would get letters and fines from our HOA regarding the tenants not following the rules simple as up keep on landscaping. Once the tenants moved out it was horrible our house was infested with roaches. I don’t feel like they ever checked our house, air conditioners air filter etc. There was at least $2000 worth of damage to our home. We still have not received

The absolute worst experience in renting a property. Manager would call late at night after drinking. Rude and always flaunted how much money she has. We went a month without air not once but twice. And then went without heat in the winter. We rented for a year and a couple of months and purchased a home immediately. So the silver lining of it all was our beautiful new home!

I contacted Robin Compton and Associates back in 2016 when I moved from the Savannah area to DC. I have never been more pleased with a property management company as I have with them! Their professionalism, attention to detail, monitoring of the properties, availability, and their desire to maintain a high level of quality is incomparable to any others I have worked with. I am currently residing in Germany and NEVER have to worry about any element of the property or its maintenance. That is priceless!
