Each individual on The Blanchard Institute's recovery team is extremely passionate about the work we do. Everyone brings with them their own unique set of skills and experience, and together, we form an unstoppable team that's dedicated to helping our patients. Ward has become one of the most prominent mental health and Substance Use Disorder professionals in the country for his innovative work with clients and their family systems.
At The Blanchard Institute, we guide individuals and families struggling from substance use disorders, alcohol abuse, and the many co-occurring mental health disorders that often accompany these dependencies, into a life of recovery.

At The Blanchard Institute, we offer four levels of care designed to fit each individual on their journey to recovery, happiness and a fulfilled life. All of these levels of care are clinically led, meaning the client works closely with our client care team so that the program is individualized to meet the client's needs.
The Partial Hospitalization Program - or PHP - refers to an intense and highly structured method of treatment for those in very early recovery and is often referred to as day treatment. This program is meant to be short-term and is a stabilization level of care. It is designed to address early withdrawal issues, stabilization, support, and structure through a highly personalized experience and ample therapeutic time with our professionals.
The Blanchard Institute's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) focuses on transitioning individuals back into a productive and peaceful lifestyle and teaches clients healthy tools & behavioral patterns to live a substance-free and productive life. As clients progress further into recovery, they will develop an increased awareness of themselves and others, especially in terms of accountability.

The Blanchard Institute (TBI) has been paramount in my recovery! I have tried other institutions and programs but have never received the knowledge and depth that I receive here! Not only do they address the SUD, mental health is evaluated and addressed, as well as the family dynamic and the roles we all play in that. I am so grateful to have found a new family within TBI, and adore my therapist Johanna! The Park Road location would not function without the amazing help of Blake who has been so helpful and friendly since day 1! The lectures are informative, and the process groups are very engaging

This weekend family workshop was such a great insight into why our loved one struggles and the commitment it will require as a family. The information was so important to understand how our son feels. I would recommend this weekend to anyone who is struggling to understand and cope. I plan to attend again. I have a renewed sense of hope for our son and our family to live a full life.

I attended the family systems workshop at the Blanchard Institute as an up and coming professional in my final semester of counseling graduate school. This information was informative, valuable, and a great review of family systems and the subtle, devious ways the disease of addiction can affect all members of a family even when there is only one identified substance abuser. The workshop would have been a diamond to experience had my family attended one like it when I was in my own process of early recovery rehabs.
