This house was built in 1971, which is probably why the plumbing was so bad. Most of the toilets and showers did not even work properly, if they worked at all, and the water was always murky and gray. There was a sketchy LVN named Amanda who had very "sticky fingers." Ironically, on the days she worked, some of the clients' medications would always turn up "missing?" Also watch out for the creepy old man named Lynn, who often "does groups" at the women's center. After his groups, he always tries to hug and hit on the women that are decades younger than

After leaving Whiteside I've been homeless for over a month while waiting to enter sober living as planned. With no provisions made for this breakdown in services I must warn prospective clients seeking help here that you may potentially be made homeless. I am now looking into services from MFI and Salvation Army among others.

I went to several rehabs before finally landing here at Whiteside Manor. After the initial shock of not having drugs to cope with my destructive lifestyle I was able to accept the help they offered here. i was only planning on staying for 30 days but ultimately and willingly stayed for 120 days plus I moved into their sober living house for a couple of months after. This is a great place to restart your life. Thank you to all the counselors there thank you to Anna and Ron and especially thank you to my counselor Theresa. love you all.

This place is terrible! They told my daughter that they would hold her bed for her and then less than 24 hours before she was suppose to check in they call her and tell her they gave her bed away with no explanation. Totally unprofessional! Would not recommend this place at all!

I was here for about 3 months, I've been to so many different rehabs that I would doubt any would work for me but, the Staff here are great, they are friendly, caring, loving and no nonsense as well. For me I have seen that it's all about how much interest and effort we are willing to put into setting a goal for our life but this location definitely has provided me with a great start. I am very grateful to George, Gwyn, Thon, Mack, Harry, Gilbert, Dr. Eve and all the amazing staff that dedicate their lives to helping others. The food was also AMAZING!!!!!!

Whiteside Manor has a great reputation for good reason: great staff. I attended the facility on Janet Street, which unfortunately now has closed. But I am still sober four years later. Sandi and Debbie were instrumental in my early recovery. The strict rules and no B.S. approach were absolutely necessary. I am fortunate that Whiteside gave me a hand up, and helped me save my life. I am grateful for Anna, Sandi, Debbie and Ron.

I went to whiteside in Oct of 2011 and stayed until I got rocked out in December. Although I fell off once, 4 years after I left, I used what they taught me and been clean for 3 years now. Being there was one of the best times in my life and I think about all the people I was there with. Miss that time. I hope they are doing well. Thank you whiteside for saving my life and giving me the tools. Love ya

I gave it five stars because I couldn't give it a million stars! This place put my life back on track and did for me what the previous two rehabs I went to failed to do. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and caring. The housing is great, the meals are excellent, and the fun activities they let you do on fridays are amazing. I attended this place for two months about a year ago. I had one brief relapse since I left but was able to recover quickly and now I am nine months clean and sober and counting. Thank you Whiteside for getting my life back on track!

I recently lost my son, who had been a resident of Whiteside Manor this last year. His disease of alcohol and drug addiction, broke down his health to the point is was beyond repair. But the staff at Whiteside Manor, especially his counselor's Gil and George, along with everyone else there were nothing short of incredible. Whiteside provided every opportunity for my son's recovery and growth back from the brink of destruction. Their care and responsiveness not only to my son, but also to his family as we supported his program, were excellent. I personally witnessed many of their interactions

I went to Whiteside in 2007-2008 but I still remember this wonderful place! They changed my life. I was clean for about 4 months after I left but they established the foundational building blocks that I needed to succeed! I finally got clean in 2009 and have been clean ever since! I went back to school and became a respiratory therapists and now work at the county trauma/burn center in Arizona! Thanks you for loving on me when I was there. I can’t remember my counselors name but she’s was amazing! Thank you again ❤️

Whiteside Manor for women is responsible for my successful recovery from a lifestyle that was destructive. The classes educated me on relapse prevention. The counseling i received gave me tools to reconstruct my life. Step-by-step directions were provided for me to get better. I daily received instruction by staff who genuinely cared and believed in me. I am so grateful for the consistent treatment and training i acquired at Whiteside Manor. I must add that the Yoga and gourmet meals were a bonus!

This is surely a place to go when you're actively looking to recover. The counselors are amazing and the facility is nice. Honestly, the best about Whiteside is the Cook! The food is ALWAYS on point and you will gain weight you lost from your drug induced binge. Here is to your recovery if your searching for a place to do it. You've found it here!

This program saved my life!!! The counselors here give their heart and soul, they truly care and want you to succeed. I have read some negative posts on here and everyone has a different experience thru residential treatment. I feel that those who feel negativity towards this program may not have been ready to do the work they need to do to stay sober. No residential treatment can fix you and magically lift your addiction, you have to be willing to do the work. I was a heavy opiate addict among multiple other substances for over ten years and this program taught me not only the twelve steps

Worst place I have ever been this is a low bottom rehab where patients are relapsing left and right in the facility the living conditions are a disgrace the food is horrible the staff is uncaring and have no patience or compassion for the addict trying to better themselves they call it a 30 day program but in actuality it is at least a 90 day or more program I do not recommend going here ever Debbie is the worst counselor ever I was miserable here I went to a different rehab called Michaels house in Palm Springs that was amazing and absolutely loved it and have been clean ever since

Not the best place , not the worst place. I definitely wouldn't want my own child going here. My personal experience was mediocre at best. 2 separate times people were caught smuggling in drugs and they were both allowed to return

If I could post '0' stars I would because that's how I feel about this 'rehab'. It has got to be the worst, least professional, idiot and non-caring rehab center to exist in CA or maybe even the country. My brother stayed for two months- he said once the thirty days was up and he entered the second month that all the classes were the same. Repeats! For that much money they should actually expand the therapy programs to grow with the patients inside the facility. He grew more and more angry and low and behold, when he got out, he was WAY worse than I've ever seen him
