Makeup by Rachel is amazing, I'm a happy returning customer! This is the 3rd time Rachel has done my microblading but it was my first time requesting combination brows, I love them thicker and darker than just microblading. I arrived to my appt with my eyebrows already drawn to show the shape and thickness I like. Rachel matches exactly what I want and adds symmetrical balance. These photos are immediately after my appt so they are a little red and swollen which is normal but will heal to all black. I'll update this review with pictures of the healing process. Rachel micro bladed my eyebrows and could not have been more professional and competent.
The guy that works there was also fantastic. My brows had previously been botched 4 years ago by Tonya Crooks, The Brow Gal.
Rachel was able to fix them. I didn't try to over sell anything. I felt so comfortable.
My eyebrows are totally even now thanks to Rachel, and I had no issues. I went back a couple of days ago and did the semi permanent eyeliner on my upper lids. Great recommendation by them. Everything is clean and nice and organized.

Unfortunately I have to give this place only three stars. I was so excited to get my eyebrows done here because of all the wonderful reviews. Rachel is absolutely sensational and a doll.

Based off of the reviews I trusted her judgment and allowed her to do her thing. She did a good job but I got something that I was not expecting or really happy with. I am extremely not satisfied with my recent eyebrows microblading service...
My eyebrows not look equal also
I see the fat lines of tattoos instead of tiny microblading lines ( like hairs ) ..
i have to fix my eyebrows with pencil

Went back for my first touch up with rachel and wow she really knows what she is doing!!! Tbh I didn't really feel the need for a touch up, but since i didn't know when i'd be back in LA i got a touch up 3 months after my first appointment. Needless to say rachel totally exceeded my expectations! And I always love visiting her super cute and pretty studio in Ktown! Thanks again for my brows Rachel

I came to get my eyebrows microbladed by Rachel and I was so impressed by her level of attention and care that I convinced my mom to drive down from SF to get her eyebrows done here as well. We both ended up getting our eyes lined here too just because we trusted Rachel so much. The level of service here is amazing! I've come to Rachel 3 times for my brows. Won't go to anyone else, she's the best! Also learned that after 4-5 times of getting microblading, that I should come back every 2 years for best results and for the pigment to stick more. It was nice they told me that instead of having me come back more often.

My mom and I went to get our eyebrows done back in July and Rachel did such a wonderful job! We loved our brows so much that my sister went back just this month to get hers done too. Our whole family is completely satisfied with Rachel's work, and we will definitely be coming back in the future if touch ups are needed! 8/27/2021-It has been more than a year and a few months since I got the microblading/ombré combination. June 2020, in fact. And it still looks great. I had also forgotten when I came back for my one month touch up, I had also had done the permanent eyeliner. Just forgot to review. Still looking good. It was painless. Will go again for my retouches. Would recommend

This was my first time getting my eyebrows micro bladed and after seeing the pictures of her clients on her Yelp page it was an easy decision to go with her. My eyebrows were thin due to medication and menopause and they took forever to fill in every morning. Getting them micro bladed was the best decision ever! They look so natural a coworker has come to get work done here too.

Amazing work. She doesn't actually speak to you bc of the language barrier but her work and her prices make up for it without a doubt! She's a true artist and her husband(?) Helps you convey what you want with ease. I took a good fall off my horse and completely missed my touch up appt and was freaking out once I realized. I sent an email explaining this and they were so cool about it they rescheduled my appt for next week without penalty. Really awesome of them as they didn't have to do that. The actual shop is so clean and adorable. Highly recommended. A+++

Second time with Rachel for a touch up 1 and a half years after my first visit. Brows still looked pretty good, didn't really need another touch up but wanted the edges to be a bit more defined. Just like the first time, perfect shape and color. Was finished in an hour. Very little scabbing, didn't go through a "sharpie" dark period. Just a little dark for five days, scabbed a little bit and flaked and faded. Back to normal a week later. I love that you don't go through a horrendous healing process like other places. She's my favorite, I even took my mom to her. Posting

I wanted to leave Rachel a smashing review because she truly is incredible. I got my eyebrows done RIGHT before the pandemic hit and I loved them! However I wasn't able to get a touchup because of the closures, and then moved across the country. It had been nearly 5 months since I got them done and I know that's past the time of allotment for qualifying for the free touchup. However, I called and she said she would see me no problem, completely understanding my situation and just what the world is going through in general right now. I am just BEYOND grateful for this amazing gesture.

It just so happened that I finally bit the bullet to get it done. Then lockdown happened. So instead of a touch up in a couple weeks, I had to wait too many months.
I also got lasik at the same time so the whole post period was rough. They said you cannot wash it for 24 hours. You should use the cream they provided. Slept on my back with a neck pillow so my face didn't rub against anything. And not go swimming

I've gotten perms done before in the past at other salons but I wanted to treat myself this time by going to Atelier by Tiffany. I'm getting married this year so I need to make sure my hair looks good and is healthy. I scheduled an appointment with Mina based off of the Yelp reviews and she did not disappoint. The process took a long time because my hair was being difficult but in the end, I was really happy with my hair. Mina and Ryan made sure I was comfortable and really took care of me.

Highly recommend this place. For the price it is so well worth it. The place is so clean and pretty. And they do sanitize EVERYTHING. So you know you're safe. They check your temperature, ask you to sanitize and make you wear gloves which i like. There was another customer before me and they actually sanitize everything too after she left.
I love my eyebrows. I feel so pretty and complete after. It does hurt a bit but just a little. She has really gentle hands. Rachel is very detail oriented.

The process was about 1.25 hour for the initial procedure, and about 30 mins for touch up. Both were painless, although you can feel the little scrapes across your eyebrows as Rachel precisely crafts your shape.
Aftercare was clearly explained and simple. Note to be vigilant on not getting your brows wet or sweating.
Overall, highly recommended and extremely pleased

This place has become my regular now because the people there are really nice, they gives good services. Also, the pricing for touch ups are really good for what you are getting. Rachel is an expert at brow microblading, I really like how she did my brows, the shape looks very good and it looks very natural doesn't look like sharpie brows at all. I highly recommend going there if you are considering getting your brows microbladed.

Rachel is talented and trying to be perfect. Before I went to Rachel I searched the internet a lot and many of the artists did not have a makeup background so I chose Rachel and my choice was not wrong. First of all, Rachel had enough time to listen to what I wanted. Rachel first designed eyebrows on my face and she gave me an anesthetic cream on my eyebrows and I did not feel any pain. She made my eyebrows so perfect and the results were so beautiful. Every friend I met asked me where I had my eyebrows. Thanks to Rachel, my morning has become too easy and I am so happy to have a perfect eyebrow

I love Rachel and I love her adorable make-up clinic in K town! I have never been to such a clean -spic and span clinic with a bit of womenly chic! Above all else with the atheistic, Rachel creates the best job in creating the perfect Eyebrow shape! I just got my eyebrow re done after a year and usually go to Sherry's eyebrow and thought I really Liked Sherry- but I LOVE Rachel! She made me my face look more predominate and its all thanks to the 3D eyebrows! i love it!
