At Paintbrush Assisted Living and Memory Care, you know your loved ones are surrounded by people who treat them like family-because our community was built by local families, for local families. Paintbrush was started by members of the Bigelow and Silkwood families and created with the belief that life should be lived beautifully; rooted in family, friends, and homestyle traditions; and filled with gratifying experiences.
With interior design and decor inspired by Yosemite and the Central Coast, Paintbrush was built with craftsman-style architecture, and filled with hand-selected art to represent the Sierra Nevada, Central Valley and Central Coast. The splendor of Central California's world renowned parks and breathtaking coast is spread throughout our community with artwork by local artists, as well as the internationally renowned Galen Rowell and Ansel Adams.
The experienced team at Paintbrush is devoted to providing comprehensive care and support with compassion. Working with each resident's physician, we create a unique care plan tailored to each resident that can encompass everything from assistance with medications, to hygiene, to transportation to and from doctor appointments, as well as other specific needs.
Paintbrush Assisted Living and Memory Care is owned by Fresno area families who have lived and worked here for over a century. We offer a distinctly Central Valley feel with the architecture inspired by Yosemite. Menus include local dairy, meat and produce. Three buildings spread across one 74,000 square foot campus consists of 75 assisted living apartments and 25 secure memory care suites.
Our goal is to continually foster the growth of our care team and residents, and to always strive to improve our Paintbrush community and the lives of the people who live and work here. In 2019, a new leadership team was created to deliver the ultimate care experience for residents.

The entire experience from start to finish exceeded our expectations, covid put my Aunt in isolation and quarantine, Paintbrush gave her back joy and dignity. Randi showed us a place that we are proud to call our
Aunts home, she loves the food, kind staff and new friends she has made . Also, this home looks like
a beautiful Yosemite lodge, new , clean, attractive.

I don't feel like I can be at a safer place then at Paintbrush. Our Activty Director works hard at keeping us all busy. I can take my dog out to the dog park at anytime. Holly, my dog, likes it here too. I think the staff works really hard to keep us all safe. Overall Paintbrush is doing a good job.

Our family and dearest friends witnessed a wonderful morning watching the staff and residents sit spaced apart while our mother enjoyed a car parade to celebrate her 100th Birthday. Staff went over the top to make sure everyone was able to see the cars while keeping everyone safe. Every effort was taken for a flawless event that we could not have done without good communication prior, during, and after the event. Our mother loves the staff and feels at home. We could not ask for a better place or staff to make our mother feel loved. She loves her BINGO

While the staff is pleasant in person our phone calls have not been returned timely in seven months, there is currently no one answering the phone, the voicemailbox is full and there is no after hours number provided. This community is beautiful and filled with amazing staff who absolutely love the residents. They are well trained in all aspects of care. The facility is well kept and Gino is one of the nicest Maintenance Supervisors around who has high expectations for his community and staff who care for the residents...great guy. Great team at Paintbrush! Keep up the great work.
